it was before her debut and maybe she hadnt finished her vocal studies yet. Also, the she was quite younger (1998) and the recording is quite old too (aka old equipment).

Oh, I didn't know how old it was!

I don't mean to judge her harshly, though. It is tough to hear her voice behind the music...so I'm probably hearing it wrong
