Too bad hitorigoto still didn't make its way to FJ live setlist... :cry:

Anyway, Thanks all for the report and setlist! I really hope I can watch it but I have an event to organize this whole day (and just got finished. Online using a my plug-in modem in a restaurant now).

For the setlist, I'd much appreciate if they replace PH with Toki no Mukou and Houseki with Nohara. Not that I didn't love Houseki, but Houseki already made its way to DVD twice.

AHHH the archived video is on! Like Mwhlr said £8 for a Yuki Kajiura live is not bad at all :sparkleguy: I wouldn't mind if future lives were done like this if they can't release DVD's

Wakana and Yuriko's outfits were the nicest for me , Kaori was pretty too, Keiko had a lovely lace top but the thing on her head.... :XD:

I loved the high five moment between Konno, Kaori and Keiko and Yuki singing in Stone Cod was a pleasant surprise :sohappy:

Don't let what others think affect your enjoyment or opinion of the girls.
I've grown to accept their flaws and to just enjoy whatever little singing I am privileged enough to hear live, stream or not.
It was my first time listening to Yuriko Kaida and Kaori (gotta go watch music energy 2012 soon) live and I was very happy with the performance they gave. And to finally be able to listen to Kaze no machi he, stone cold, etc. live... ;_;

Anyone else notice how excited Keiko got when Kajiura got the female audience to call the band members' names?
I half expected her to ask if they could call her name too. lol

The topic for today's MC was, in line with the concert's Japanese only theme, their favourite Japanese phrase.

I can't remember wakana's, sorry. I do remember her turning round and round.
Yuriko Kaida's, I believe, was "the strength to continue or the strength to finish what they have started". Though she then said that if you don't like what you are doing, it's okay to stop. lol
Keiko's was "dagashiya-san" which is the candy store. The reason she gave was "just hearing it would make my heart race (doki doki)". lol
Kaori's was "sadness/sorrow". Apparently, it makes her go kyun!

Sorry. lol. I found Keiko's answer hilariously cute and had to share.


Ah well. Now that the only live I can watch is over. I'm gonna go buy some beer and cry myself to sleep for the next two days.
Oh, what I wouldn't give to have a BD/DVD release for all three lives. I started off as a BGM and Kajiuran fan afterall.

I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself so I can complain about and then guiltily admit I like it despite all the undoubtable bad parts that will be present.

But I'll make sure not to post my complaints in case some people's feelings get hurt.

Nobody knows, yet.

Hopeful as I am since the cameras were in place for the stream, they felt a little too amateurish to be used on a proper DVD/BD release.
Cameras that rock/shake and are not stable?
Weird angles that partially blocks some of the girls' faces when they were not in their default position?
While I wouldn't mind even if they released it as it is, I do hope they have more cameras and get more angles in if they plan to release it.

Oh what the heck. What am I saying.
Please. Just. Release. It.
 
The entire Live was awesome for me, day 1 isn't enough!, I want day 2 and 3!

Here is what I think of the Utahimes:

Wakana: Was sounding exactly like herself during vol 4, although her voice is more than fine, but singing is not perfect either in at least some of the songs however this does tells me that she isn't sick at all and sounds exactly like the studio magiked DVD in YK live vol,4, If there are still people that believed that her voice was altered/tweaked etc that is. So I am going to say Wakana will always sounds like Wakana!. :sohappy:

Yuriko: She sounded a little bit tired to me but she hold her part
throughout the concert even when sometimes Wakana and Kaori overpowers her. Her harmony is still legendary.

Keiko: Imo the most consistent out of all the Utahimes never once she shown me any sign of bad singing especially in big concerts such as this and safe to say she is the fittest "endurance wise" among the Utahimes.

Kaori: Her strongest performance yet but it think she could have gone a bit softer or adjust to the others :XD: but she decided to seek vocal attention this time :ohoho:

Yuki Nothing bad, but pure epic awesomeness MCs and what not! , this time she sang Stone Cold together with her Utahimes!!! :nosebleed:

If only day 2 and 3 were available for streaming :cry: anyway, that concludes my report! :dote:.

I might just be weird like this, but since I've been on this forum, I've found that nitpicking and complaining about stuff is part of the fun! It sparks some pretty deep conversation!

Thank you for that run down! Hopefully I'll be able to work it out myself one day!

One question I'm sure someone here can answer - What does the Japanese audience shout when they want an encore? The first time I ever heard it, I thought it was "Ganbare" but, with my limited understanding of Japanese, that doesn't really make much sense. Now I hear it as a different word, but I'm not sure what!

They literally shout "encore". But with Japanese, it becomes pronounced as "an ko-ru".
 
i didn't know there's a streaming of the concert to bad i didn't watched it---- does anyone body recorded it?

How about we talk about the stream itself then? What did you guys think of the quality/cameras/sound etc. As I said previously, a higher resolution option would have been nice (Apparently I was on high!?), but for such a cheap price, it's not really a complaint. Similarly, the voices stuck out a little too much from the backing band. Once again, for the price, it was still acceptable, I felt. Except for one part where the volume of Kaori(?) inexplicable shot up and killed me! xD

I thought it was best in the pop-out window. It wasn't as pixelated as full screen, but not too small either.

You might still be able to watch the archive footage if you buy a ticket? Not sure though...

You can still watch the archived stream yourself by purchasing a 1000 yen ticket if you can or would like to support them.
Otherwise, just wait a little while. I'm sure everyone is busy extracting the archived stream right now. I think it's 955MB? lol. It's gonna take a while.
 
I'm sure anybody who knows me will know I love it when people disagree with me because everybody agreeing with everyone is boring.

However! It's clear that disagreeing is not allowed on this forum so I will ~*~behave~*~ and not complain and become A hAtUr for the sake of the fragile ego of those few people who can't seem to understand that diversity of opinion is actually a good thing.

...Or at least behave until I go back to college next week and have something else to occupy my time with.
 
@Kobalos: Nobody said that disagreeing is not allowed. You just need to be careful when doing so (saying that to both sides) to not irritate each other with extragerations (e.g: "W is goddess" / "W sucks") because these kinds of phrases will naturally make the other side angry and try to counter say something.

Also try to not be very picky, for example, we all know that Wakana probably has some sort of problem with her voice that currently makes her to not perform as good as the other 3 (or 2 in case of Kalafina) do. You (general term) dont need to state that she's "off" or that you are disappointed with her, since that will be a given fact until she overcomes this sort of problem. I say this because if you and the other people that tend to criticize, point it in every chance, all you get is getting mad the ones that try to oversee it and enjoy they single/live, eg. Black Sword, Nick Hunter, Hime Wakana etc.

So from now on please think of the above before posting something that will offend. :)
 
^This hasn't gotten to the point yet george, but I agree it is getting to an agitating point where it would start debate. Comments on the concert would be the purpose of this thread and nothing more. However I do not like the sound of everybody agreeing with everyone is boring because it seems like you like to cause issues or enjoy trolling peace out of this forum.

If anyone has nothing inspiring or motivating to say please keep those disagreeing/trolling thoughts to yourself while this place is still at peace and I do not find it boring as a matter of fact it was all normal before such concern was put into topic. I suggest if anyone wanted a challenge please do it in pm e.g to Kobalos, she will be more than happy.
