There is one more vote now, lol. BTW, I changed my vote to the one with map with the same reason as george.
 
It already April 2, so does this mean the gift project will compose of: Inspirational Book and Poems and Sentences from songs? :confu:
 
^ Yes, and Map too. Now its the time to start planning. First how each of you are able to help with the project ? (do you have any particular abilities that could help?)

- I sugest it to be something like that

- Coverart by HIS MASK (I think she offered to help on it)
- Map with fans (2-3 pages of the book)
- Landscapes of countries.
- At the end of every country we could put 1 poem of song titles.
 
I'll be thinking of whipping up a template for all of us to follow. Give me at least until next week to finish it.

As for the pics, I may start asking friends if they have very decent pics to share or take the pics myself. :sparkleguy:
 
I can help in the Cover art and I'll try to find some decent pictures of landscapes in my stock of photos(I hope there is). Sorry, I dont have any talent for poetry.

Anyway, About the landscape photos, can I submit something like a Panorama? :ayashii: I do like using Panorama for landscapes because it practically captures everything I want to include in a photo. :XD:
 
I can take pictures of landscape (actually I already took a lot of them since the project started :XD:) I'm not sure about the poem, but I'll try making some lines for fun first :bow:
Also, I have some questions out of curiosity:
1. How do we present the map? I mean, each of us can provide IP addresses to make it, but will we use a world map as background like this (it's just a random example I found online, I mean no offense to any countries :desksweat:), or should we make a google-like map, which can be zoomed in and out? (That sure sounds complicated)
2. How many landscape pictures should one country/ member provide? :confu:
3. Is there a specific length for each poem?
4. What do the editors need to do? :confu: b/c I'm hoping to be one this year
5. Should we only take photos of nature or we can include urban scenes? Should there be people (like, a pedestrian passing by) in the pics?
That's all the questions for now :bow:

My pictures so far are mostly urban high-rises, taken by my handphone. Would that be okay?

And also, how many poetry should every member submit? Is it one for every picture?

The map part, should we make a separate thread and ask every member to say their country out, then one person tabulates? Should we add the number of people to the country, or just the country name alone will be enough?

A digital one (with zoom) would be difficult and afaik we dont have someone that could help with it, so I suggest to use a blank map that has only boards and country names, like this one http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... ld-map.gif which we could fill with small images of people

If we get to make a zoomable, we could have under the unzoomed country names some stats like the number of fans on that country, and their age scale, and when one zooms we could have small pics of them in avatar style. Also using IPs is not a good idea since it could used by others to find where we live and come burle us ,

2. How many landscape pictures should one country/ member provide?

That depends on how many members each country has (so the total number per country might have to be divided). The number of images per country will have to be parallel to its real world size, since eg US will have more of landscapes to show compared to a small one, or the fans number it has (since the one close to Japan tend to have more fans compared to the far away ones.)

3. Is there a specific length for each poem?

I guess around 5 stanzas of 4 lines maximum is enough.

They will need to organise the making of the project, arrange dead lines till which each phase of the project will need to be done, and at the end, put all the gathered matterial into the book and send it to Yuki.

Urban are fine, and pics of passer bys ok too (but dont overdo it )
 
^I will just participate this year. But I was thinking for the pictures there should be a maximum of pics, it might be too expensive to print that many pictures, but yeah it does depend on how many from each country. I am from the US. Do you want us to PM you, george, the exact location of where we are and our pic? Do we have a deadline yet or have you not picked one.
 
^ Not yet. We still need to deside alot of things like which of us are going to participate, please write that you are participating and the country you are from (you may pm me details later on). Is there anyone that could help on zoomable map or we will make it traditional. Title poems wont be diifficult to make so we will save them for the later stage.

I did that already, but I guess I'll say that I'm in again. And I'm from the US, Wisconsin. (Do you need the city too or just the state?) I am looking forward to seeing this completed.
