Yea, that's certainly not me. ;) I'd be the grumpy guy with his arms crossed miming the words or mumbling at how I don't like someone's singing.

That said, I also don't think you'll ever encounter me at a YK live, lol.
 
Wow... @Terry Tsurugi impressions towards May'n and Aimer are exactly the same as mine, esp. Aimer...lol. Though I like neither her songs nor her voice, her singing skill is sth. in another level that makes me want to attend her live again and again while I don't think I want to buy any of her recordings. Even her live recordings are still far less impressive than her live performance...her live is sth. you need to listen by your own ears.

For your information, I have a friend who is a fan of Fate Zero and SAO, but she isn't a Yuki's fan. Even she likes some of Yuki's songs, she isn't a kind of a big fan who follows every release from Yuki. When Longing was released, she said she likes it so much because it sounds similar to TTB (which is her favourite song as well.)

I guess that for a non-fan, the similarity to some older songs is not a big deal, as long as it sounds good? (If Longing was released before TTB, I think I'd like it more than TTB as well...@~@.)

The same thing may be applied for Heavenly Blue which receives so much love from AZ fans who don't feel any similarity to those previous Kalafina's&FJ's songs from Parallel Hearts to TTB and to many many other songs that give out the same vibe...- -".

I’m with you, I love those songs too. I also love RYB, Believe, Blaze, Eternal Blue, Stone Cold, Luminous Sword, Swordland, Longing, and other songs that would likely get me banned from this forum. But I’ve only been a fan for a few months, so I have a good excuse.
 
Cleared my cache and got logged out. Some posts above is another reason why I put that ignore button to a very good use. aimer singing skill is "something"? Lmao. I have so many things I wanted to say but they're almost all insults so I'd leave it at this. I just cannot not post how I completely disagree with that statement.
 
You just ignore someone without even explaining why the post made you angry? At least I'm going to listen to the audio before posting my impressions.
 
Aimer vocal timbre (or color) is not my cup of tea. I don't hate it but not a fan neither. Not sure about vocal technique cause i don't know how to analyses that.
 
I wonder, does anyone have the setlists for all the artists of the live where YK performed ? I googled and didnt find something.

By the way, Joelle sang lead on both Key of the Twilight and Yasashii Yoake, although Kaori sang chorus (if that’s what you guys were referring to).
