Guys, don't go about buriyng this project yet. :sparkleguy: official breakups are called official because they are announced officially... :@_@: :XD: I'm positive we'll still hear of FJY, be it a separate single or a b-side. :TdT:

1. The promo pics are better than the cover, no photoshop!
2. FJYUUKA is DEAD. Accept it and go on. Now is FictionJunction, a project with WakanaYurikoKeikoKaori and Yuuka.

I remember reading something where Yuki Kajiura said about working with Chiaki in the future, something like "let's make an album again even if we're old." It even made me say "aww" :XD: I just forgot where I read it.
:knife: ????

The line is from See-Saw interview, I think, we should even have it in the site. I remember it, too. As far as I understood it, they both view See-Saw as a "playground" to meet and hang out at occasionally. Which should explain why there was no official breakup - they just go their own ways untul they feel like doing something together again. :tea: and that's exactly why we keep our hopes. Accept and go on? That's applicable when you really need to get over something. Here, the case is not so much about "dying for the reunion" as about "being really happy if the reunion happens sometime". :innocent:

Listening to the radio (surprisingly, this connection is behaving quite kindly today :sohappy: )
As usual, can't understand more than a dozen of words, but it feels good just listening to lively and optimistic-sounding Yuki. :dote: Heard Xenosaga IT theme so far, it's really an extended version, similar to the live one! :sohappy: And I like the arrangement tweaks, they make the song feel even more powerful. :hero:
I wonder if it's the only song where we'll hear bagpipes... :leaf: :XD:
I Swear exceeds my expectations. :nosebleed: such a warm, beautiful song... :dote:

I think I'll wait to buy Fiction II once it's come out...I was considering preordering it, but I'm conflicted. Believe it or not, I like 7 of the songs, and the other 7 I don't really like :XD: I'm sure some of them will probably grow on me, since usually they do. But I definitely don't like Emily Curtis' weak voice, and the singer for I Swear just makes the song sound more like American alt rock than a Kajiura-sensei work. So I think I'll buy it later. :innocent:

In the meantime, I hope I can find the time to listen to the first Fiction... :ohoho:

American alt rock? :confu: dunno about that. Yuki doesn't seem much into writing clear rock songs, she just borrows some concepts (like with all she does - she said herself she doesn't usually choose styles and genres elaborately). And I Swear doesn't sound like rock to me... unless you consider it some kind of "soft rock" a-la Coldplay. But it sounds fresh, indeed, and I only welcome it. :V: But some people don't... no matter how many complaints the world might have already heard about Yuki Kajiura being "repetitive". :blood: The story of our lives... :...:

Finally got a chance to listen to the samples. Here are some of my comments.

- I liked My Long Forgotten Cloistered Sleep. Sounds like a sad, melancholic melody. Looking forward to hearing the whole thing.

- E.G.O. vocal version sounds epic :nosebleed:

- I was okay with I Swear. I don't think the vocalist is as bad as many people have said. In fact I think the new style, how ever un-Kajiura-like, is quite a fresh attempt and I'm willing to give it a shot. There were earlier complaints that Kajiura's songs are getting repetitive and always the same, and now she comes up with something new and it's not well-received. Can't please everyone, as pointed out by Nick's article :XD:

- I also don't know why so many people dislike Emily Curtis :uh..: Personally Maybe Tomorrow is one of my favourite Kajiura songs.

- Image Theme sounds sort of weak. I think the original version will always be the best version for me, better than the live, better than the new arrangement. I don't think Wakana's voice in the live fits for the epicness of the song. I would have thought Keiko would be a better choice :XD:

Wakana's vocal is a bit closer to Deb's, maybe that's why. :ayashii: (although from that POV, Kaori's should be even closer :XD: )

But Wakana's voice isn't really powerful, so even if it kind of matches Deb's, the strength of the song will be gone.

^ rather than not powerful, it's more like her voice isn't as forceful (can't explain it properly in words). And I agree with Nick about Kaori might fit image XS2 better than Wakana. Keiko does have strong voice, but more rounded like Wakana.

In fact I think the new style, how ever un-Kajiura-like, is quite a fresh attempt and I'm willing to give it a shot. It's actually quite pleasant to me after listening it on the radio show. Quite a simple song, I gotta say.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the song itself, I just don't really like the singer that much. It's great to hear Kajiura-sensei trying a new style and a new arrangement of sorts, but I wish she'd find American singers with more pleasant voices. I like smoother voices like Wakana, Keiko and Deb Lyons a little more. But it's just my opinion, of course :plot: Still looking forward to it! :V:

Hi, I'm new!

I've visited this site from time to time to check for news about JK. But the outcoming new Album gave me the final impulse to register.

As Fitcion (I) was my first contact with YK, and the beginning of my doomed fate of yk-addiction, it is madatory for me to get this album!

And i just found out that amazon has it available for pre-order here in germany...
:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

...and then I saw the price...
:bloodlust: :voodoo: :imdead:

I mean

WHAT! ... THE! ... FUCK! !!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

47,99€

Please, can somebody shot me ???
:blood:

Edit: corrected typos!

Welcome to CPM Alahndro ^_^

The price is quite normal. Albums are usually around 3000Yen all the time. To the price later ads up the shipping cost (at check up). Note that amazon is the most expensive store so try searching in other ones like yesasia or CDJapan [ they have cheaper shipments and more methods to chose] http://canta-per-me.net/2011/03/fiction-ii-samples/ (you can click the preorder links)

Please make your intro thread in the introduction board instead of here ^^.

Errr, you meant YK instead of JK, didn't you?? :swt:

edit:
and lol I'll gladly shot you because most of us here pay about the same amount of cash (some pay even more) to purchase these things we like so you shouldn't really complain. Not buying would be easier option rather than complaining about how much money you'd spend on, btw. You can't always get what you want. That's life. :tea:

Oh, i'm sorry, so sorry sorry sorry, that i dared to mistype YK with JK.

But as i said, i'll order it, even if it means i'll have to rip out one of my legs!

OK, it is not that i couldn't afford it, but i was kind of shocked.
(Now i have the motivation to work some overtime next week)

I know, i should have introduced myself in the right thread, but this was the reason and so the place. maybe I'll write something there tomorrow.

Back to topic:
I just listened to the samples on the new site, and find the tracklist somehow unsorted!

Welcome to the world of importing things from Japan, Alahndro. If that bugged you, you should see the price that most of us payed for some of the other CDs or DVDs we've imported. Anywho, back on topic... just listened to the samples and obviously not enough to make a final judgement call but I was :waii: during some of the samples and :blood: during others. Meh, it's still Yuki so I'll probably end up loving it all after I listen to the whole thing a few times.

Whoops, just realized that this isn't a new song :tea:

friggin' expensive, but if one of the music shops here in Minsk offered this, I'm afraid I'd go on a heavy diet until my next payday. :omg: :XD: Such occasions are WAY too rare. :shy: :shy: :shy: :TdT:

and nice to see you here, Alahndro! :V:

And that's what basically distinguishes a CPMer from normal humans. :XD: :sohappy: :ohoho: :sohappy:
