didn't know re/oblivious sold for that much now! wow... *mindblown* i'm glad i got all of my first press/limited edition kalafina singles/albums as they came out (i have them all, including re/oblv). i can't believe that some of their sold out limited ed singles sell for so much $$. i remember thinking what a waste of money re/oblivious was when it first came out..good thing i kept it :XD:

Ahhhh... Perks of an long-time fan! :3 I've only managed to do that since believe... Well, that was a gift, and that's what actually pushed me to start buying their releases <3 I still haven't gotten any of the far on the water versions though aside from buying them off iTunes. Oh well... I guess they can wait :P (planning to get the CD+BD and the vinyl)

I don't know much about buying/selling, but I imagine the longer people wait to sell the vinyls, the higher prices will go, even more then they already probably would if they sold them now. Or just no one is willing to sell theirs yet, perhaps?

The only vinyl edition I've found (accidentally) is a CDJ special request for the ryb vinyl and they're accepting orders from anyone who's interested.

I remember that OL and FOTW both had vinyls in stock at some point
I wonder if CDJ are allowing special orders for the vocal score book. It's my only chance at this stage i my life where I'm parent dependent to get it. I'd have to read up on costs though.

@LacrimosaRaven I think I vaguely recall a special request page for the OL vinyl at some point (didn't know about FOTW though, so thanks for the info on that). I haven't really followed the vinyl stock since they originally sold out.
As for the vocal score, CDJ can special order it from the spacraft store afaik. My guess it'd probably be over 6000 yen when you factor in domestic fees, CDJ's fees, shipping fees, and the item price itself.

Question: why haven't I found the Kalafina vinyls anywhere?! I would imagine they would sell for high prices too :omgz:

They still sell them at Tower Records (One Light and Far on the Water at least), but you'll need a proxy or a forwarding service to get them as they only ship within Japan :)

hey, you guys are troopers for trying to find them and buying them at those prices :goodjob:@sutekinanijinoiro
I've been wanting to get re/oblivious ever since I realized how rare it is :ss The other stuff can wait, but the ones that are really hard to get at a reasonable price are Lacrimosa and storia... So when I did find reasonably-priced listings, I didn't think twice and bought them right away. :) Now to target the 5th anniv LE as well, another rare thing to get a decent copy of *cries a river bc the price </3*

EDIT: Just so you guys realize how much resellers have marked up the price for this thing, it was originally sold for 1,456 yen, tax not included ;A;

The vinyls are still relatively easy to get hold of, some places still have them in stock. I did notice when I was over there in late October that the Tower Records store in Shibuya and the Kalafina Museum at Animate were selling the RYB and OL vinyls as well as FotW, so evidently there's a bunch floating around still. They will eventually disappear however.

I just ordered the 2014 Live CD and the Limited Edition of One Light (DVD version) Honestly I don't know if I want any other Maxi CDs, they don't seem particularly interesting or useful apart from a B-side. I have a certain affection towards this one though. I guess it all depends on if I like the songs or not, I'm also not to particular about having a collection like Seasonreapers. Hopefully my mum and I can strike a bi or tri-monthly deal. I definitely know for my birthday and Christmas I'm getting some Live DVDs. I love Kalafina lives. I can't wait for a FOTW release. There are so many album tracks I'd love to see live also if they happen to add Yami no Uta to a FOTW live DVD I'd be extremely happy. I love that song.

I'm jealous of everyone's collection, compared to my puny one :comeback:

I'm moving in a couple of weeks, so I'm in that awkward stage where you can't order anything, because you won't know if you'll be there when it arrives. Once we get all of our stuff moved and settled, I'll probably order Seventh Heaven, both Pandora Hearts OST CDs (I love the soundtrack so much), and Aimer's After Dark album.

I'm also in the same boat. I'm going to Melbourne from the 27th to the 30th. The only reason I ordered what I have is because I picked the same shipping that took 4 weeks last time for Budokan. I remember how it arrived. These guys in a green van pulled up got out and put my package on the doorstep right at 8am when i had to leave for school :touched:
I ordered Gordon Ramsay's book The Humble Pie too. the website I ordered it from said it'll be here before I leave so hopefully I can read it on the plane. If not I guess it'll just sit for 4 days until I get back in time for school. Thankfully you can't see our house from the drive-way so :innocent: here's hoping.

On an unrelated note @Seasonreaper Does the limited edition of Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE SELECTION 2009-2012 hove more tracks than the regular edition? I was just taking a look and CDJapan's listing is confusing.

The amount of tracks is the same. The early PVs are on the DVD and later ones on BD but I can't remember where the split is.

If you can get the LE I'd recommend it, the box is lovely and the bonus photo book is great too. It is costly these days though. I remember wondering whether I should pay out for it on release since even that isn't cheap, but I'm glad I did. It was my first Kala preorder :sohappy:.

I have an issue in that I may be moving as well, but it's not decided when. The possible period is months long at that. Might see if I can send parcels to friends until it's over.

And package finally arrived a couple days ago. Still having problems with payment but friend is so kind he told me I shouldn't be so much in a hurry to complete the payment. Still, it's really embarrassing that I still haven't done so even though all the items are already here (+more!! ^_^). Not my fault, however. *kicks PayPal*

For the photos of the parker/hoodie, here we go! ^_^

@Seasonreaper, yeah, it is comfy. When I took it out of its cheap plastic wrapping, it still felt pretty warm. Actually it's so perfect for cold climate! Shame we don't have such here except for early mornings and around February. I could put it into good use in computer labs though... They tend to crank up the aircon's cooling settings to maximum. Why is that, I will never know :/

The fabric is really, reaaaally nice, but the print at the back, not so much. Feels like it will be damaged very easily, so this is something I will wash myself. Eek.

Apparently the brand is Truss. Anyone recognize it?

What also caught my attention was the double zipper! Perfect for when you don't want it completely closed at the bottom. Even with the size being S, the fit isn't too snug, which is my petite frame's fault, so yeah. Still... Really, really comfy. :3

For those who plan to get this, I hope they still have this in stock, of course in your preferred color and size, at the current tour's live venues! *crosses fingers*
