XenForo 1.4.3 Complaint Thread

Had a weird one, no styles or images in Firefox just for all the canta-per-me.net sites only on my newer pc.

It turned out that I somehow had an Adblock Plus rule for canta-per-me.net.

One removed, everything looked alright again.

I updated my own filter subscriptions and am getting regular behavior at the moment. Is it a custom filter you made?
 
^ I think that I must have accidentally done some keystrokes or mouse clicks that added it, as I certainly didn't add it deliberately.

I'd say change that 'http' to 'https', but it seems your image hosing site doesn't have their certificates set up properly.

Images are currently being proxied by Xenforo, to keep the forum secure... where are you trying to link images?

That is what I get when I try to link an image, in the char for example or anywhere else and most of the time it does not work.

Yep, that's the forum proxy. It's specifically set up to NOT allow the scenario you want.

My suggestion would be to reply to the post with the image, and copy the un-proxied url from there.
 
@Sudrien, remember how we had fixed the problem of 5 pages of a thread being shown as:

1 .... 4 5

instead of

1 2 3 4 5
(which took less space and was more useful as it gave one links to all 5 pages).

A similar problem happens with "Likes":

eg:

You, Sei, a-chan and 1 other person like this.

whereas it would be more useful and take up less space to show:

You, Sei, a-chan and kajiuran123 like this.

In other words, use the actual nickname instead of "1 other person" and start using "X other persons" with "2 other persons".
