If you happen to be on while I'm messing with server configuration, it might happen. One thing about Virtual Private Servers is I can restart the thing myself, now. And the possibility of replacing phpfreechat with somthing... with more options.

Right, thanks... even phpfreechat 1.7 might be worth trying if the onions can be migrated over.
 
btw, what's the official word on how long it should be before a new member can upload an avatar? nodame89 was asking about it in the Introductions thread.
 
Forum now being served via HTTPS!
Gallery is being served via HTTPS!
Chat is being served via HTTPS!
Main Site is being served via HTTPS!

Hopefully nobody's blocking it, because currently all http links will be redirected.

Some of us have had problems of IP addresses being blocked when trying to access the main site (see the suggestions thread).

A router reset and getting a different IP address solved it for myself and at least one other person, but it's quite an annoying problem to have.
 
I've cleared out the three temporary blocks I could find. Unfortunately disabling WordPress security proved to do a bit too much.
 
again, having issues with the main site. I'll log in, but not even a minute later I'm logged back out again. Also, it looks like my profile pic is gone (not sure if that really matters tho)

APPARENTLY iThemes Security somehow forgot some of our serving rules - the website must have been switching you between HTTP and HTTPS. that should be fixed now.

For the profile pic - is that the forum, or the main site? If it's the main site, you'll have to re-upload, or, alternatively, set up on https://gravatar.com.

If its the image under your posts, I've just changed it to pull from HTTPS instead of HTTP - perhaps that will fix the issue?
 
ah yay it's working now, thanks. It was the profile on the main site. I'll just reupload it

Unfortunately https://xenforo.com/community/resources/raid101-com-member-list-manager.1421/ seems to have fallen out of development a good while ago, but its still the only thing closest to the desired functionality.
 
it seems that the birthday announcements box has disappeared...either that or there haven't been any birthdays in the past month or two
 
i don't know if this is the right thread to ask/say about this, but lately i can't open the forum using my phone's browser sometimes... are there some major updates regarding the forum's software/whatever this past week? I can open the forum through my phone's browser just fine last week. There's no problem when I'm using my computer though.
 
^ @ritardando one thing that seems to affect my phone's browser more than my desktop browser is the fact that canta-per-me.net now uses https. There may be a certificate setting that you need to play with to get things to work properly.
 
@ritardando - I'm unable to look into it without knowing anything about you're phone's browser.

http://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ can generate a link with these details.

...there are some older browsers that don't support modern HTTPS/SSL certificates. But I can't even confirm or deny that without more information. EDIT: if you go to https://sni.velox.ch/ and do not see a "Great!" in the second line, that's your issue.
