Mega-ultra-super-giga-uber-ZOMFG-ish offtopic:
(Although the topic is becoming more and more ontopic on this matter XD)
I'm terribly curious about that "Instrumental" case, Nick.
Is it a special case for expressing the thing you used in order to do something? Like..."I opened the door with
my mouth"? XD
(Ok that was probably as far as you can get from the actual thing
)
In romanian we have 5 cases. (And i think that Prepositional of yours is integrated into our Dative.)
Nominative - Yuki Kajiura
Accusative - Pe Yuki Kajiura
Dative - Lui Yuki Kajiura [If it's a native romanian female name the genitive acts as a declination ending to the name/noun. Ex. Maria - Mari
ei (...to Maria)] It's the case of the indirect object. It is also the case that expresses places/locations too and can answer to the question "to whom" also"
Genitive - Al/A lui Yuki Kajiura [again If it's a native romanian (female name) name or one that ends in -a, as most of them do, it gives up the "lui" in fron - which means "of" in most cases - and does this: Al/A (male/female possessed object) Mari
ei. same goes for a noun regardless of it's gender. It's usually "
Al lui for male or foreign possessors to which, as a sort of a rule, no ending can be glued]
Vocative - Yuki Kajira! [I think most of the people are familiar with this one ^^]
Ok that might have been to much but heck, as long as it's on the topic of the offtopic...
Tell me more, Nick! Onegai! :bwahaha:
