Westkana
HA! I live in her CLOSET!
Update for me: I've finally learned how to read (most) hiragana, so now katakana is the biggest of my troubles XD. I remember I was typing something on my iPod using the Hiragana keyboard, and a classmate walked by and was really surprised I could read it
People were also surprised when I told someone who was showing off a sign that they had for a sumo tournament was upside down. Granted it was easy for me, since it just read アメリカ (America), all symbols that I've learned from one place or another, but it was funny to see both his and other peoples' reactions
EDIT: I've also started taking Japanese lessons online though "mango", free with my public library. Though the extent of what I've learned is いいけしきですね and さむいです.
