Wakana solo career

While I do like a few of Wakana's songs (my favorites are Yakusoku no Yoake, tsubasa, Ato Hitosu, and Ai no Hana, in that order), but overall I think the kind of songs Wakana wants to make is not really in the type of music I listen to. I'll definitely check out her next album (please put Ato Hitosu on there) because I'll probably like a couple of songs, but I think I'll just get the ones I want from iTunes and not go for ordering the physical copies.

Also, is it just me or is Wakana putting out a lot for her first year? When this album comes out she'll have put out a single, DVD/BD, an EP and two albums. I'm glad they're pushing her, though. I hope it translates into some more fans for her.
 
After listening to her EP, I can say that Wakana is charting her career as far away from Kalafina and Fiction Junction as she can. There is nothing comparing the EP (and her LP) to her past recordings in any way. It's like she's some one else now. No need to compare her to her FJ and Kalafina recordings.

(Still: I keep expecting to hear Keiko's harmonies )

She even wrote lyrics for one of the EP songs. I was looking forward to more, but she's just starting out as a song writer. Give her time to find her footings.

I mean... AFAIK she wrote lyrics for like 4 tracks on her self-titled debut? (Edit: 4 indeed: 約束の夜明け, 流れ星, 時を越える夜に, 僕の心の時計)

Feel free to correct me as I'm only going by internet sources.

Dude I totally agree, Yakusoku no Yoake is by far the most Kalafinian song that solo Wakana has put out so far, it really reminded me of Kalafina's very Celtic sounding RHH songs like Storia and Yume no Daichi so she really hit the nail on the head with that song in reminding me of the good old days with Kalafina. :TdT:

A CD version of the Wakana live as well, I'm so happy I get to experience that again :TdT:
 
I absolutely did not care for the EP so I’m hoping the 2nd album will give some quality material. ^_^ happy for an atohitotsu live release but why no official recording ?? We got kimidakeno stage... hmm.
 
breathing is the full version (w/ Japanese lyrics) of eve btw!! Very excited to hear the studio version, the live version was amazing!!
