TVA「Sacred Seven」OP：FJ，ED：Yuuka

Kaori again...hope this one would be like Hoshikuzu, which is Kaori x Keiko. Don't know if I really like Kaori x Yuriko , because although in the recording version the song is Kaori as lead and Yuriko as the chorus, in live performance there always Kaori x Keiko i.e Dream Scape, Hanamori no Oka, michiyuki~~
 
^ I think Kaori and Yuriko's voices are too similar. When they sang a refrain in the Fiction II version of The Image Theme, it didn't really sound right because their voices are very similar, at least in my opinion. I think that might be why Kajiura-sensei uses Keiko as Kaori's harmony in the lives...and plus Keiko has the lowest range of all. I'm hoping for more Keiko myself, and not just in the bridge or in Hitorigoto.

And now I'm wondering whether I should even pre-order this single or wait to buy that super-expensive girugamesh book...should I get the きれいな歌 or the きれいな写真?? :ayashii: :ohoho:
 
^hmmm i don't think so ninetales for they have different range,when i listen to them i can differentiate there voices.i'm not saying that ur wrong though,coz it depends on the listener i think. .i love kaori x yuriko in canta per me live 106.gif
 
^ Yeah, it's probably just me, but I'm thinking more along the lines of the tone and timbre of their voices, not their range. There's just a certain texture to their voices that's a little similar, at least to me. But I might be hearing things :XD:

I wouldn't mind hearing them sing together, though. It doesn't really matter who sings these songs, as long as they're released :ohoho:
 
L.A. and canta per me are the most prominent times i can think of yuriko x kaori live duets, and i really liked them. i thought they blended well together- i think that the sound they produce when they sing together is a bit thinner than wakana x keiko duets, but it has more of a pointedness that i prefer for certain songs. also kaori's usually singing harmonies when she performs with yuriko, and that's an aspect of her vocal side that doesn't appear as often as her main melody moments.
 
Sorry for the derail in conversations but here's a little announcement:

Yuuka mentioned on her 2h radio show last night that she and FictionJunction will be participating in a special event together which is related to their respective Sacred Seven singles. It will be held on October 16 (Sunday) and only people who bought the singles and are selected through lottery can attend the event. It hasn't been announced what kind of event it will be though (e.g. whether it involves performances or not). We'll just need to wait for the official announcement on the FJC news page for more details.

that's good news! thank you -- i hope next time it would be as FictionJunction YUUKA (i miss it)

@ninetails: oh yeah.i agree,the texture is quite different for me though.and that's what makes listening to them more enjoyable coz u each of them has distinct voice and sounds well when blendid together (like coffee) :XD:

Just a question: Why the hell its so late ?! Octomber 16... thats more than 2 month after the singles release.
 
Scheduling issues, maybe?
Even if they're promoting their respective singles, there's a hope for a collaboration or at least some FJY songs performed. :ayashii:

What I really mean in my post is I hope for Keiko in the stanza and Kaori for the refrain like in Hoshikuzu~or to make it clearer, I hope it would be like Keiko sang Kaori's part in Toki no Mukou, and Kaori replace Wakana in the refrain~
 
dunno... if anything, Kaori's voice may be similar to Wakana's or Yuuka's, but Yuriko's?
In Xenosaga II IT, they're just combined well. :sparkleguy:
 
^ my vocal pairing for FJ (considering the resemblance on my ears) has always been either Wakana/Keiko or Kaori/Yuriko :XD:
 
In 4 FictionJunction vocalist, I think Kaori's voice is most similar to Yuriko's.., but not too much similar.. just enough similar to make their voices blend well when they sang in the same line. (that is one is the main vocal, and the other is chorus.) But if it's 2 vocal singing alternately (eg. Wakana&Kaori roles in Toki no./Parallel Heart..I don't know how to call it by technical term..lol.), I prefer Kaori pairing with Keiko...:).

.if it's kaori in the chorus,then i would love to hear kaori+yuriko+keiko,i love their harmonies,esp in hanamori no oka.what's the technical term for alternate singing? i also love when FictionJunction do counter melodies.wakana+yuriko and kaori+keiko 05.gif
 
I don't know if I'm going to follow THIS...well, after the new Gundam announcement I'm losing all my faith on Sunrise so maybe I should try this as a last chance for Sunrise.
