I failed to recognize Yuuka in the promo for a second there. She looked almost like a completely different person.

And as expected, backdrops featuring the fields, coastline and sea. Man, I wanna see a different side of Okinawa for once. It's always the fields, coastline and sea. :XD:

To be honest, "Anata to Watashi no Uta" is somewhat underwhelming for me at the moment but I like the sound of "Hitorigoto" from that short sample. Don't really mind who sings the lead as long as the song is good. :shy:

Sounds more like a soul ballad to me. A bit reminiscent of good ol' Saeko Chiba times, perhaps. :tea: :dote: And I think it's Kaori + Keiko here. :ayashii:
Well, this being a ballad was a given, since Yuki seldom puts two upbeat songs in a single. Too bad there's no Yuuka in sight again, but we're in for another sweet and soothing piece of music anyway. :dote:
 
hitorigoto: for me, it's one of those songs where i have to listen to the whole thing to make any conclusion.

so i'll wait. lots of kaori, great :sohappy:

But I must say I'm kind of disappointed, since KEIKO could have perfectly been the lead of that song and it could have worked out just fine because it's perfect for her vocal range. I'm not saying KAORI doesn't sound nice, though. It sounds very very very very peaceful and I'm liking it a lot already! But REALLY, KAJIURA? :uh..:

And is that WAKANA coming in at the chorus I hear at the end? I liked that part too...

Decision to buy the single has reached 100% for me! :shy:

^ Well Kaori has more experience in singing Jazz, I believe, so Kajiura probably wants her to showcase it (she hadn't had chance after she left BJ Girls/CHIX CHICKS).

The fact that the Wakana part is not in kajiurago but in Japanese, makes me think that maybe its the refrain, not the bridge, in that case I would prefer Keiko instead of Wakana, but maybe's she singing the 2nd part of the song instead, who knows.

Anyway Im harry Yuki decided to use saxophone after such a long time in a non kajiurago song, and hey it should be the first in japanese! :dote:
 
I think i will love the entire stone cold single! i love both tracks. eternal blue is so cliché. i like the dancy tracks, i see myself dancing in a club to stone cold. and hitorigoto is just beautiful Kaori nails it, although I do agree Keiko would sound just as lovely if not better. Hopefully they all have some parts in it, mostly Keiko! :dote:
