First three tracks were already revealed today
1. はじまりの国 X'mas Edit (The beginning country)
2. 風が吹いた日 X'mas Edit (The day when the wind blew)
3. 海原を駈ける船 X'mas Edit (The ship across the ocean)

Succeeding tracks will be revealed on the aforementioned dates from the website.

Track 2 has a vocal which I presumed to be REMI's since she's the only vocal from the first two Xmas CDs

Not really my type of x'mas rearrangements XD

Sound Horizonのファンクラブイベント＜Sound Horizonメジャーデビュー10周年ファンクラブ祝賀祭＞が10月26日・27日の2日間にかけ、渋谷公会堂にて行われた。今回は27日1回目公演の内容をお届けする。

応募多数につき追加公演が決定し、2日間で各2回公演となった本イベント。27日はSound Horizonのメジャーデビューからちょうど10周年の記念日だったこともあり、集まったローラン（Sound Horizonファン）達も祝賀ムード。オープニング・アクトをパラレルワールドに存在するロックバンド“VANISHING STARLIGHT”（読み：ヴァニシング・スターライト）がつとめることもあらかじめ告知されており、開演前にはVANISHING STARLIGHTプロデューサーのRevo（！）がパラレルワールドから来たインタビュアー陣と共に2F最前列席に現れ、ローランたちの歓声を浴びる光景も見られた。

会場が暗転し、舞台前の幕に映像でVANISHING STARLIGHTのボーカルNoëlが映し出される。「よだかの星」のイントロとともに幕が落とされ、バンドメンバー全員がステージに登場すると会場は溢れるほどの歓喜の声に包まれた。昨年の＜Revo's Halloween Party＞でさいたまスーパーアリーナを彩ったリストバンド（シンクロライト）が今回も活躍し、幻想世界に活躍するバンドの面々を煌々と照らし出す。

最初のアクトを終えたNoël は観客席へ向け「親しみをこめてローランって呼んでもいいかな」と呼びかけ、会場の流れを一手に掴むとSound Horizonのカバーである「澪音の世界」「光と闇の童話」の2曲をバンドパフォーマンスで披露した。メンバー紹介ではNoëlのアナウンスでYUKI(G)、Leda(G)、IKUO(Ba)、JUN-JI(Dr)、AKITO(Key)などバンドメンバーも改めてローランへお披露目。JUN-JIの激しいドラムからステージはそのまま「Mother」へとなだれこみ、熱狂のうちにオープニング・アクトを終える。

バンドパフォーマンスに盛り上がったあとは、Sound Horizonの10年の歴史をVTRで振り返りイベント本編のトークコーナーへ。ここではSound Horizon主宰のRevoがステージへ登場し、MCのALEXと共にローランたちへのアンケートから過去の歌詞の中で「おもしろい」「カッコイイ」「美しい」「感動する」「何でかわからないけど好き」という5つのテーマでランキングされた歌詞を紹介していく。歌詞カードからそのまま抜粋された文面は時に絵柄を交えたり、独自のルビが振られたり、暗号化されているものなど見るだけでも楽しい内容だ。

さらにトークパート後半ではインタビュアーの冨田明宏がゲストとして登場。今回のイベントパンフレット内のインタビューも担当した氏によるSound Horizonへの公開インタビューが行われた。インタビューを受けたRevoはこの10年を振り返り「10周年経ってわかること──ああ、いい10年だったんだなって」とコメントしつつ、その間に起きた変化について冨田氏から「陛下が皆さんの前に出てくるようになった」という指摘を受けるとそれに首肯。「デビューした時はただの音楽家だったんだね。それがどんどんエンターテイナー的な方向になって、音楽が核なんだけれども、それを使って楽しませたいという風に成長してきている自分がいるんだと思います」と語った。また今回の「ヴァニシング・スターライト」でロックを選択したことについても、先ず物語にロックが一番合っていたという説明をし「僕は音楽っていうものがどれだけ物語を表現できるかというところで勝負しているつもり」と一貫した姿勢を見せた。

また、インタビューの終わりにはRevoから冨田氏へ“ムチャ振り”として、Sound Horizonが自ら『物語音楽』と呼んでいる自身の表現手法について「音楽史の中に位置づける名称として、何かわかりやすいジャンル名を付けてほしい」というリクエストも飛び出した。ローランの視線が集中するなか緊張を隠せない冨田氏だったが、すぐに回答しなくてもよいということで一旦は胸をなでおろした様子。（サンホラ流としては“物語音楽”に直接ルビを振っていただきたいところだが…）今後の氏の回答に期待が高まる形でインタビューは終了した。

祝賀祭もいよいよ終演が近づき、Revoは会場のローランに向け、最後に直接この10年を振り返った思いのたけを語った。

「デビューした時は“自分がこう表現したい”ってもっと意固地だったんだけども、今はどういう風に着地しても、それは意味があると思っています。君たちが楽しかったよって言ってくれたり、そういうのが一杯あるから、何か信じられるようになったってことがあるのかもしれないね。

アーティストって自分が表現したいことを追求しすぎると自分だけになってしまう。自分と創作との戦いになって、他のものが居なくなるような世界になってしまうことがあるんだけど、その中で自分だけじゃなくて、誰かが楽しいって言ってくれたことには意味がある。そういうことを教えてもらった10年なのかなって気がしています。だから僕の周りには一人じゃなくて、君たちがいるってことをちゃんと感じています。本当にありがとうございました」 ── Revo

付け足して「そうそう。10周年、今日から始まったんだよ」と告げたRevoに沸き返る会場。VANISHING STARLIGHTの面々含め、この日登場した全メンバーがステージに揃って挨拶し、最後は会場に集ったローランたちによる国歌（『栄光の移動王国 −The Glory Kingdom-』）斉唱という形で10周年の祝賀祭を締めくくった。

また、国歌斉唱後の告知では、2015年春に“新たな物語”が生まれることも発表された。こちらは10周年アニバーサリーの第3弾にあたるアクションだが、詳細については現段階では明かされていない。Sound Horizonによるサプライズはまだまだ今後も続きそうだ。

Happy 10th Anniversary! The Sound Horizon 10th Anniversary Fan Club Event took place on October 26th and 27th. This talk show/live event was held at the Shibuya Koukaido venue in Tokyo.

main_2_w660.jpgEach show (out of a total of 4) featured an Opening Act by VANISHING STARLIGHT (photos from BARKS.jp), the fictional rock band around which the new single “Vanishing Starlight” is based. Here are the setlists:

main_w660.jpgEach show had a different guest. These guests were journalists and music specialists that have interviewed Revo in the past, and have a close relationship with Sound Horizon. Actually, it is thought that the three interviewers who appear in Interview with Noël (Anniversary Maxi Single “Vanishing Starlight”) are in fact the 3 guests who attended the Event.

New Story CD in early 2015?
One of the highlights of the Fan Club Event was the announcement of a new Story CD, which was made right at the end of the day show on the 27th. According to the Sound Horizon 10th Anniversary site, this Story CD could be the 3rd part of the Anniversary Series, and it is not known whether this will be the 8th Story, the 9th Story, or something completely unrelated. It could even be the 10th Story, for what we know! The only hint we get from the official Sound Horizon is this message:

“As the first leaves start to grow, our new journey through the Horizon will begin.”

Vanishing Starlight and 7th Story Märchen to be made into a manga series!
Last Saturday (October 25th), the magazine Shonen Ace announced that the Anniversary Maxi Single “Vanishing Starlight” will be made into a comic. Today, we’ve learned that the 7th Story CD “Märchen”, released in 2010, will also have a comic version in Summer 2015. The manga based on Märchen will be published in a new magazine which is to be launched by Kodansha publishing next year. This is not the first time a Sound Horizon album is made into a comic. In 2006, Shueisha published a comic version of the song Ark from 4th Story CD “Elysion”, and later on made the whole 5th Story CD “Roman” into a manga series, which were eventually released in two comic books. Looks like 2015 will be a busy year for Sound Horizon!

Meanwhile on the Xmas Rearrangements for Bravely Default, details of tracks 4-6 were released. And Remi is featured for track 6! Can someone get their names and know what kind of theme are they pls?

Yasuhari Takanashi rearranged #4 and #6, he works a lot with REMI. I specially love the Fairy Tail OSTs. Fairy Tail OST 1 had a lot of tracks similar to these two.

hmmm, 7 and 9 were already on the previous sets although different arrangers this time. The luxendarc theme (#7) this time was arranged by Motoi Sakuraba who also participated in the original soundtrack and some other Sound Horizon stuff before IIRC. #9 has a vocal again :9

Also, four tracks from the original Bravely Dafault OST will be available as a paid-DLC for the 3DS game Theathrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call; these tracks are
