Is it weird that I have been suspecting Kyuubey even before the show started? (I mentioned about this during the early episode)... :XD:

Some people think Hitomi doesn't like Kamijo like that, but wants to push Sayaka towards facing her feelings and confessing to Kamijo.
I also thought of that possibility, but I just feel that it's too good to be in this dark&cruel Mahou Shoujo series...(how pessimistic I am..lol.)

Famous of Kyubey now...This thing happens in Thialand..someone hack the government official website for the national student test for entering the universities..(the educational system has been changed so many times since I entered to the university about..umm..about 10 years ago.. :desksweat: .) and they put this pic...
http://plixi.com/p/78809011

You know...every student in Thailand who will continue his/her study in the university in this year must go to that website, and when seeing it..they're just like....WTF...what is this character?... :XD: ... (seems so cute at first.., but I wonder how will they feel after realizing that how evil it is...lol.)

@Zero:

1. It seems unlikely.
Since Mami wore her Soul Gem in the shape of a hairpin, it was probably destroyed right away. :uh..:
2. Let's hope she'll be SAVED, I don't really care by whom. If my fave character in the show goes Higurashi-esque, I'll be mourning...
3. After the series, theres' a certain chance that we might type something like "killkyuubey.net" into the browser and actually get to some site :ohoho: Of course, Gen Trollobuchi-san may just as well turn the tide in the last episode, atoning him majorly. :XD:
Seriously, there must be some limit to the progressing darkness of the show, lest we should get a Nice Boat instead of episode 12. :ohoho: :ohoho: :ohoho:
About Kyousuke... I'm still not sure how his relationship with Sayaka might turn out - but we should take into account that there's no 100% guarantee
he will return Hitomi's feelings even if she does confess. Maybe the guy is really sinking too deep in his reobtained world of music.
The problem still lies with Sayaka - she was shy around him to begin with, and now her view of herself got bulldosed and paved into concrete. I almost feel like it would come down to a necessity for Kyouko to beat the poor girl's mind back into her (anime knows at least one magical girl who uses this method successfully :XD: ).

what i wouldnt give for a DVD of yuki dancing to magia

+100000000 :TdT:

Meanwhile, my usual check through Osu! resourses yilded something unexpected:

Not counting looooooong shows like One Piece, this must be the first time that an Osu skin is based on an ongoing show. Another proof of the hype around PMMM. :cheer:
The last pic is scary and spoilerish... if we still consider episode 3 a spoiler, of course (with all that memetic mutation, I suspect Mami is going the path of Aerith, whose fate has been known even to people with the most vague concept of what Final Fantasy 7 actually is :ohoho: )

Yaaay, I've finally watched it. :sohappy: Y'know what, Kyouko is seriously applying for my second fave Puella Magi here. I often have a soft spot for characters of the "jerkass with a heart of gold" type. And her primary attitude gets a solid explanation. While it's not completely atoning, all she's been through might have left her a mindbroken maniac - which she, despite all her uncompromising behaviour, doesn't seem to be.
Should've known from the start that the intro comments would not mean exactly what they say. Kyouko is not above good and evil, she consciously escapes both, afraid to make another mistake. All in all, it looks like Madoka's mom's mistake theory doesn't work well with Puellae Magi. Hopefully Madoka is already aware of that.
From what I've watched during the fight scene, Sayaka's madness actually looks a bit less alarming. At least it evokes the impression not of her snapping because of being a "zombie" with a prospect of losing her crush, but rather of her going overboard in her defiance, trying to prove herself despite what Kyouko had told her and what she had to deal with the next day. This MIGHT be curable with a befriending pat on the head with a polearm, giving her a timeout to contemplate things (I'm not really wishing that on Sayaka, but I strongly suspect that Kyouko/Homura/both of them are already considering such an option). A slight KO and a week's sick leave, Mitakihara surely will hold that long without our poor loli knight (in fact, I wonder if any other city has ever had a concentration of three magical girls in one area). Give the girl's mind some time to recover, darnit! :anger:
Hitomi... the way she behaves does give an impression that she might be just elaborately forcing Sayaka to open up.
As for Kyuubey... after the scene with the Soul Gem, I can't but agree with Homura: his morale seems to have little to do with human values. Whereof even Mephistofeles had better knowledge.
This all considered, he still seems to have his fans on AS. Taken from a user signature:

Last but not least, the music. A handful of new tracks, some a bit hard to hear behind the voices and SFX, but sound good. The instrumental version of Grunty's favourite and most awaited track (*is bricked* :ouch:) is WIN, the melody accompanying Sayaka's fight is EPIC WIN. I hope it makes its way into the first volume. :shy:

No Morning Lescue this time, but a bunch of commercials including some Vitamin Lemon (drink at the risk of hallucinating little walking toys on your shoulder). Seriously, advertising energy drinks in such a show? I'd advise sedatives instead. :ohoho:

@Nick Hunter

Though Mami's soul stayed with her on the other side, remember that Madoka's wish can be ANYTHING, no matter how miraculous, so Mami can stil be brought back.

I don't think so. In ep 5, Homura tells Madoka that allowing Sayaka to become a PM was a mistake she'll never be able to correct, and that "it's as fruitless as trying to raise the dead". I feel like that was Homura's indirect way of saying that no matter what Madoka does, Mami won't be able to come back.

so that's the reason, eh :ayashii: ?
Homura's really resourceful :XD:

It seems to me Homura was refering to the PMs own capacities on that. They have various powers (remember the magical baseball bat and the ribbon trap Mami did), but they wouldn't be able to do something so extreme. Still the contract wishes can be ANYTHING. If not, Kyuubey is a lying bastard (I'm betting on it).

Nope, he's an information-concealing bastard. Unless you ask him about things you didn't have the slightest idea you had to verify, he'l say nothing.
Mami has never even found out... probably, neither have most other Puellae Magi, since nobody considered leaving their Soul Gems behind, let alone throwing it away. Heh, it looks like Madoka has stirred a big beehive. :ayashii: :knife:

It's also probable that if Mami knew the truth behind the soul gems, she'd never ask the girls to engage in the first place.
Btw, looking at Sayaka's grieves... I remember a hypothesis at AS that Homura's wish might have been to become popular and liked (during her conversation with Mami, the latter classifies her actions as "something a bulied child would do" and Homura reacts sharp enough by her Nagato-esque standards). So it's a thought that she actually made a wish... and then learnt the truth. Whereafter she distanced herself from everyone, by tragic irony... :uh..:

More interesting would be what actually happens, her mother dancing to Magia! I mean, she must be quite old by now?

Next tweet is also hilarious, still wrt Magia aerobics: http://twitter.com/#!/Fion0806/status/39316779893264384

which translates as
Mum "But the song lasts quite long, it's tough!" Yes, I'm sorry... _| ̄|○

(EDIT: quoted Kera's original post since, after posting, I realized it was miles away from mine...)

Japanese women somehow manage to be cute even when they're old. Another mystery of this land... :XD:

Really liked the song in the latest episode where it's all black and white, kind of shadowy (I love that type of art). Now I really can't wait for the ost. I'm beginning to agree that Madoka won't become a Puella Magi until the very end. :XD:

Yeah...
My brother was kind of upset about it too. It happened kind of fast.

AS mentioned the now memetic "amazon guy" - a customer who, according to his story, recommended the show to his little niece - and after episode 3 he is now a persona non grata in his sister's house. :omg: :ohoho:
And, as one of the comments put it, "if it weren't for the leak about Urobuchi, the number of such accidents would be even bigger" :plot:
Seriously, while yours truly was mostly hyped up about the show due to the Shinbo+Kajiura factor, many people must have dropped their jaws since that leak. Now that I'm halfway through Saya no Uta and PMMM, I understand. It's pretty much like announcing that a new Disney animated film is hiring Stephen King for the script. No wonder Shinbo-sensei wanted to keep things shadowed al long as possible. :plot:
