New FictionJunction album "elemental" and YK Live vol. #11

Aww man. I want all the stuff. The tshirt color is a bit weird though. Maybe the blue is better, but I don't wear a large. I hope this all goes online soon. And I also hope for a dvd as well.

Considering the design is clearly the elemental cover I think it's safe to assume it will stay unchanged for all lives.

I do, very much. most of FJYuuka's song are overall better composed from the recent ones by Yuki. And the Yuriko & Hikaru chorus in the concerts enrich them alot compared to the CD version, so I will be very happy if they release the first concert or a combination of the 2 days.

I agree \(^0^ ). I was like that too on Saeko Chiba songs too until I get to listen to it carefully and found out how hers is better than most of the recent ones albeit the simpler chorus arrangements. That Hikaru + Yuriko Chorus is actually the jewel of the live, at least for me.

Just saw the setlist. Should they release a BD/DVD, I really do want the first one more than the second because the second one feels like an extended live of vol.#4. And I like Senya Ichiya too~ and a complete MADLAX jpops included too

And... they actually recreated (somewhat) the gate on stage from elemental cover :omgz:
Are they gonna bring that to all the other 9 lives? :plot:

It was Yasashii Yoake, not Senya Ichiya.
 
I wish it were Senyaichiya, it's my all time favorite See Saw song... Yasashii yoake is great too, though. I just really hope they release a boxset of sorts where we can watch all the concerts AKB style (yeah right... I can dream though...)
 
I kinda wish for all songs performed to be put under one DVD/BD box set, day 1 and 2 both contain songs that I really want to hear live, like I'm here and Blessing, and I really don't want to have to make a choice.

And hmmm, I agree that many of Yuuka's songs were very well-composed/written, really grand and majestic, and she has a lovely voice that I simply adore and can't get enough of, but I've accepted (grudgingly) that she's kinda like coriander among Yuki's fans... you either love her (it) or don't like her (it). :ayashii:Can't help it.

it's despair. and lol george i didn't know you almost fall into desperation because no one likes your posts, so there I grant you another like.

About Yuuka's songs...I agree most of it is really good, but tbh I don't really enjoy them because Yuuka's voice is kinda hit and miss for me. I like it on some songs, and I don't really like it on the other songs. But I got to appreciate Yuuka's voice more since I've watched the live vol.4 DVD. Almost all songs sounded better than in recording, especially aikoi for me. The recording version of aikoi is kind of...uninspired and Yuuka sounded really flat there for me but the live has more dynamics and I really like the "haiaiaiai eyes to me" bye Yuriko and Hikaru, and Nozaki rocked the song. And that's another reason I really want this one to have DVD, since Sato usually failed miserably in recreating the same energy/atmosphere of the songs that don't have drum in the original version.
 
I really like Yuuka's voice, but I can see why some other people wouldn't...she does sound a bit 'nasal', which doesn't sound very complimentary but in the context of the FJ songs I've heard her sing in, it works and for the most part I think she sounds great. Her voice reminds me a bit Stevie Nicks actually - there's not as much projection and 'operatic' volume as some of her bandmates, but her higher-pitched 'gentle' delivery is perfect for certain songs.
 
Wasn't Blessing performed before? Or was that just a cover? And I really like her voice, but some of her solo songs are just okay. They're not as good as Yuki's, (Shizuku probably my favorite solo) but watched the 1st part of vol 4 recently and she is really good live. But that's just me.
