New FictionJunction album "elemental" and YK Live vol. #11

Whoops. Should've mentioned that she would perform in all FictionJunction concerts. The one where she's not performing is a Yuuka concert.

Wow, thanks a lot. It's interesting to know that Kaori's doing the main vocal on the title track, because I've never really had chance to sit down and listen to her voice on its own before. I think her performance here was fantastic but it threw me a bit because her timbre and range a bit unfamiliar. I was thinking "this singer sounds a bit like Keiko, but not nearly low-pitched enough..." Glad to have that cleared up!

As for Gaika...so that *is* a cello...and it's a Wakana vocal! Okay, that explains a lot (namely: the spine-tingly feeling I got from it... :tea:)

Considering how this is such a great record and a musical highlight of the year, I'm actually hoping there's no new Kala studio album this year. Elemental is enough for me...and I wouldn't want the vocalists, musicians and support staff feeling they have to rush back into the studio and work their butts off to get another dozen or so new songs together, outside of singles and OSTs. Ms Kajiura's made her 'studio album' contribution for 2014 as far as I'm concerned!
 
^You really should listen to dreamscape then. I didn't used to like it, but now I really do. And Kaori is lead on that as well. Also that is the exact way I describe gaika, the spine tingly feeling. heh

I always loved dream scape, it was one of the songs that introduced me to Kajiura's music.

Are these goods eligible to be purchased online in some way? Or does anyone know of a good proxy service that will go to these stores and purchase the items for you?
 
...These goods will be sold during the performances.. right? If not, I should check Animate stores. But I didn't understand the announce at all. Why so many dates?
 
Considering the album is just 4 new songs (technically 3) I'm not surprised.
 
Placed on #12 in Oricon weekly chart, selling 6663 copies. That's only 1/3 of Kalafina's album first week sales. I'm not surprised though, with Kalafina consistently releasing single and those tie-ins with popular anime.
 
^ and doing more lives too. FJ probably get forgoten by people between their one-per-year releases.
Also if you except distance - which I heard alot of gundam fans hated because it replaced another popular song - FJ hasnt been related with a good anime since Ookami Kakushi (since Sacred Seven wasnt popular)

Ookami kakushi wasn't popular at all, george. Or considered "good" for that matter.
