The girl with the dragon tattoo - worse than the swedish version

And so I heard... :psst:

Apparently, even the English translated book version is supposed to be a lot better than the Daniel Craig celluloid version anyway... :uh..:

:ohoho:

Ranma 1/2 Live Action

Funny just like the anime :ohoho:

Altough i havent finished watching the Anime :uh..:

Captain from Castile (Tyrone Power et al), Don Juan (Errol Flynn et al), and Rebecca (Laurence Olivier et al). Captain from Castile was amazing - unbelievably atmospheric lighting, great performances, on-location filming, well-done storyline. Don Juan was pathetic in comparison, with a somewhat silly plot and horrific sets/lighting/costumes. Rebecca had a very good, tense, Hitchcock-classic ending, but the first hour and a half was basically boring.

Hard Candy :blood:

Ridiculously unbelievable characters and story, despite the bloody obvious plot twist at the end trying to answer for everything. Don't know what's the fascination with it all about.

Once I wanted to watch it, bit for some reason I didn't. Should I?

You could try. Ellen Page has a pretty good performance in this one (despite said failed plot). Might be worth comparing notes afterwards.

That said, I don't rate this film highly. :blood:

Twilight... (all 4)

For me it's an OK movie. But... I REALLY prefer the books. Although EdwardxBella moment sometimes :blood: (too much 'love'...Romantic isn't my genre :XD: )

Dragonwyck (Vincent Price, Gene Tierney et al) and Niagara (Marilyn Monroe, Joseph Cotten et al). Both of them were very underwhelming but Dragonwyck is more bearable since it's Gothic and doesn't have half as much of the overbearing Marilyn focus. :uh..:

The hidden face - very good. I like the plot a lot.

Me without you - nothing special to me

"Generation Kill" (HBO Mini series)

Probably the most realistic dramatization of soldiers in the front line made for the mass media. Then again, not something I would recommend for anyone. It's still best reserved for those who's had at least donned the uniform and lived to tell the tale.
