They're releasing the concept movie? That is really cool, never thought they'd actually do it, at least not alone. Was expecting it to be a bonus extra on a future release if anything.
 
Well if they are releasing the concept, won't fans want it even more and then they will publish it? Here's to hoping and for music, Yuki of course! I want another great soundtrack like Rebellion was.

I wonder how much it will be... I would say they can't charge too much for a video that short, but you never know. It'll be interesting to see the sneak peak of the next movie once this is released.

Anyway, if anyone wants to read a unofficial critical study of the series and all of the different concepts & ideas tackled in the series (including Rebellion), there is a book out called "The Very Soil" out by Jed Blue. I've read through a pretty good part of it, and it's very interesting, especially for someone who is basically in love with the story, like me. Here's an amazon link if anyone's interested: :tea:
 
Still a huge waste of BD disc making materials, only Victor is enviromentally friendly it seems. For a vid this sort they could give it digitally or something, and give you the code to download it inside the merchandise package.

Quite ironic considering the movie is literally a proof of concept deal, the entire thing is, at it's core nature, an idea.
 
So why would a proffesional company make something like concept movie ? To see if audience likes the idea ? If so why didnt they do it with the rebellion movie or the madoka tv-anime too ?
 
Create hype. It's pretty much the same thing as the Rebellion teaser shown at the end of the second movie.

not sure i like this concept ^^;
the bgm didnt have anything out of the ordinary either.

What do you mean resurrected Mami? She got resurrected in the original TV series already.
