Madoka Magica movies

If anyones interested, here's the official PV of Hikari Furu, Madoka version.

The sound quality is surprisingly great. Seriously. But I do have one question, is Hikari Furu really this slow and this low? I mean, does this video look like its been edited to make the sound lower? Cause' I dont know :uh..: It feels lower than I can remember.

I think there's a kind of different mix of the instruments with the vocals, but apart from that I dont thin its slower, you can also compare them and see for yourself.

P.S: I dont think that a QB eating is a happy memory for them to show inside the video (considering what he does to the girls later) :XD:

lol :XD: maybe the slower part isn't entirely true. But the part where the vocals are lowered is definitely there. I like it. It sounds more natural than the original. :)

No wonder I had the strange impression that I preferred Hikari Furu from the movie than the album. They were different! :ohoho:

Indeed, it sounds lower, slower and mellower. Is it just me, or are the lyrics slightly different too? o.0

Anyway, I like the PV. :shy:

Oh LOL :XD: I'm gonna look for the original then :sohappy: But you gotta admit, the quality of the sound is superb.

I wouldn't call that official either. Looks like a bunch of clips randomly placed together with not much effort to move them with the music. When I edit AMVs, scenes with characters talking is a no no, unless you're gonna sync them with the lyrics.

^ lol, that actually is the PV that came with the AE, and yes, the pitch was lowered in that video
I hardly watch it anymore because I was so disappointed with the editing of the clips :uh..:

Nice PV, but why does it seem to be using the TV footage? Many shots I remember having been redrawn in the movie, at least as far as the booklets and promos testified. :confu:

AE?
Well if it's official then, it's just sad that the job went to someone who..well, did a poor job. People seem to like it though.

Because the movies aren't out on dvd yet for the "official" person to use the clips.

I compared the sound with the oroginal by playing them at the same time and it's quiet different. I think they lowered the pitch a little, so it would sound sadder, not so bright like the original one. Anyway, this isn't the first time, they play around with the sound in Madoka. In the first episode (TV version) Magia was slower and they never explained it, if I remember well. :ayashii:

That was explained - all the music in the first TV airing of episode 1 was played/mixed with the wrong frequency by mistake.

For youtube people change the pitch to cheat the copyright system.

Where did you hear about this "mistake"?
The slow version was interesting though. I thought it was meant to be slow because it was like a dream sequence.. kinda like Inception where it's theme is a slowed down version of the song used for the "kick".

If it were meant to be that way it would stay that way in all the subsequent airings and home video releases.

Besides it wasn't just Magia, it was all music in the episode.
