I downloaded that single (transparent) along with Karma, because of Requiem of the Phantom. I don't really like Karma's b-side, Insonnia, opposite to how I adore Karma..But I really love both Transparent and Chinmoku...

And I haven't heard her "EXEC-something" songs that lots of people here love, so I gonna give it a try.

KOKIA is one of my most respected singer, not only for her superior vocal ability, composing/lyric skills, and also her passion to spread love and joy (she has been doing humanitarian work for a long time).
I also agree she sings better (and especially way more reliable) than FJ/Kala. (But to be fair, Kokia has >10 years of experience in professional music production + a degree in classical vocal)
Many of my favourites comes from her own songs(composed/lyric by herself, as opposed to anime/game songs).

- Arigatou (love even more for Coquillage Edition)
- Hajimari (AKIKO infinity KOKIA)
And more...

I think I'll try listening to some of Kokia's songs, just to see how they are.
Coincidentally, are there any live unedited performances of hers on Youtube? I'd like to hear how she really sings since any official live from any singer is bound to be edited to some extent

How I wish for another collaboration between Yuki and Kokia if it's possible. Bonus point if Keiko joined too, because she is a big fan of Kokia... If there's one song of KeikoxKokia composed by Kajiura, I'll go to seventh heaven

I agree with grunty, most of her stuff is pretty boring.
ANYWAYS, my favorite album is Kokia-Akiko~Balance, and my favorite song is Il Mare dei Suoni. I really wish she had more songs that show off her opera skills.

She's freakin amazing, like there are no words to describe just how godly awesome she is. Her singing style is impressive it's very hard to do. She's go some strong lungs.
