I'm sure whoever does the OST will do a wonderful job, but if Yuki doesn't write it, it'll feel weird. The combo of her music with the imagery worked so well it would be a shame if she didn't work on this too.

When they released the 7 movies and the epilogue I was so dissapointed that they left out this one, so I'm really happy. :sohappy:

Nothing bad happened to Kokutou. In Japan, people marry into the more prestigious house. The Ryougi are far better than the Kokutou on the social and economic scale, so Kokutou would have married into the Ryougi family.

Nothing bad happened to Kokutou. In Japan, people marry into the more prestigious house. The Ryougi are far better than the Kokutou on the social and economic scale, so Kokutou would have married into the Ryougi family.

I didn't know about that. The Western tradition of the wife routinely taking the husband's name strikes me as a bit...sexist somehow. Some women end up using their maiden and married names together, while others keep their maiden names. It's rare though, and I don't personally know anyone who's done that.

My original thought was that Shiki was so fiercely independent that she wouldn't give up her name for ANYONE. :knife: Still, some couples live together for life and never marry! Maybe that's what happens here...?
 
It's Japan, the likelihood of that happening is extremely low.

They married, and Kokutou married into the Ryougi family, thus becoming Ryougi Mikiya.

As for Western tradition, it's just the way things have been forever (though India and other Eastern lands have a similar tradition). In Spain and Spanish-speaking, women keep their surnames, and there's a custom similar to the Japanese, in which children are given the more prestigious surname instead of the paternal one, hence Picasso.

That stuff isn't widely recommended in Eastern culture, as far as I know.
Come to think of it, I didn't see Aozaki when I sneaked a peek at the novel ver. Maybe nothing happened and she's still living in the same place? :confu:

^According to a tweet, from what he could tell from the PV he saw, it's Heaven's Feel.

I have no idea who they would ask to do the music. It's the same staff from Fate/Zero (same director - Aoki Ei, and same producer - Kondou Hikaru who wrote that Kajiura is easy to work with and likes her so much he is tempted to have her be involved in all their work if possible in the YK10 pamphlet), and Kajiura's music was pretty much universally loved by both the staff and fans. Even so, fans might be resistant to change.

It's likely to be a movie, btw. Not TV series. So perhaps they would want someone like Kajiura who can get it right with minimal iterations.
 
^ oh so they are going to redo the whole anime and not just redo the animation ? that's good :XD: is heaven's feel different from the currently done F/S N ? because I have heard there were 3 routes in the game, where the anime followed one, the movie the 2nd and now remains the third. Hoping for kajiura-san too!

@Hatouchan: Is there any official site for the new FSN already open ?
