Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin Gets Anime Film

Happy to hear about new Fate adaptation. Hope it's a TV series and not just a movie. I'd love to see the Heaven's Feel route since it hasn't received an adaptation at all (even if Studio DEEN's take on Fate and Unlimited Blade Works wasn't ideal, I'd rather they do something new rather than just a reboot).

I'd love to hear another Yuki soundtrack, though I liked the music from the previous Fate/SN series as well. So I'm happy either way.

And yay for Mirai Fukuin, though it's not much of a surprise that they'll hire Kalafina again.
 
I'd love to see Heaven's feel as well....anime or movie..with Yuki's OST or not.. it sounds interesting...:P. I think that among all three routes, it's fit Yuki's music the most :XD:.

I was planning the BGM in my head as I was watching the early, first footage of the show. As soon as I finished the last scene, the song just came, wham, (into my head). I desperately took down notes on the score, matching the speed of the song as it played in my head (laughs). I don't think there's any other Kalafina song that was made as quickly as this one.

So, it's a very simple song, but it's something I'm very satisfied with. I pray that, as a song for Mirai Fukuin, it will be something everyone likes!

As well as a new blog post regarding the first movie in 3D and the new song (more or less what she tweeted). She says that she had wanted to resume posting after Kaji fes., but had too much to write about. Says she will probably resume writing her blog, bit by bit.

今秋公開になる、劇場版アニメーション「空の境界・未来福音」の歌を、Kalafinaが歌わせて頂いております。
「未来福音」の初期の映像を、頭の中でBGMのプランニングしながらじーっと見ていたら、ラストシーンの後にどすんと降ってきた曲です（笑）。

ラストシーンの台詞を聞いていたら、歌詞の一行目がぽっと出てきて、「ああこの言葉で歌は始めたいな」と思っていたら、頭の中でKeikoちゃんがいきなり歌い始めちゃって、これはやばいと慌てて五線紙を出して(^_^:)、流れる曲を追いかけてがーっと譜面を書いて行ったら出来ました。歌詞も半分はその時のままだなあ。Kalafina史上最速で出来たメロディーなのは間違いない。

なのでとてもシンプルな曲ですが、自分の中ではとてもしっくり行っております。
皆様にも、「未来福音」の歌としてお楽しみ頂けたら、と願うばかりです！

The song for the movie, "Kara no Kyoukai Mirai Fukuin", which will be releasing this fall, will be sung by Kalafina. It's a song that came to me (lit. fell into my head) as I finished the last scenes from the early footage of Mirai Fukuin (laughs).

As I listened to the dialogue/lines from the last scene, the first lines for the lyrics just popped out. And as I thought, "Ahh... I want to start the song with these words", Keiko-chan just suddenly started singing in my head. I thought, "Oh no!", scrambled to grab the score sheet (^_^:), and wrote the song whilst chasing after the melody flowing in my head. The lyrics are more or less (half) as they were at the time. There's no mistake that this song was the quickest to be completed in Kalafina's history.

So, it's a really simple song but it's something that feels very right to me. I hope that, as a song for Mirai Fukuin, it is something that everyone will enjoy!

^ Yes, simple song is probably a ballad.

I hope Keiko gets most of the song and not just a few lines at the beginning like it happened with Mune no Yukue, since she has to have a big part of song since red moon (the album) :cry:

I was hoping for an upbeater song since oblivious and sprinter are the only upbeat songs for knk :touched:

still cant wait for it, when Yuki gets sudden ideas into her head they tend to turn really good :dote:

The first thing I wrote for Mai-Hime was the academy’s theme, and also Himeboshi. As a matter of fact, that was a piece that I did in the middle of the first meeting with staff, and of course I was embarrassed to take out the sheet music right in front of them, so I went into the bathroom and secretly wrote it there…

@George: I thought ARIA was a pretty upbeat song too. At least in my mind it is.

IMO, that new song doesn't sound like Hanae&KnK at all... it sounds more eastern-like while I feel that most of KnK OSTs are quite western-like (reminds me of some kind of east-meet-west tracks in Tsubasa or Pandora Hearts..not about the melody or sth. like that, but the atmosphere of the song... just darker), and I think that we've never got (or just rarely..?) this style of singing from Hanae... I love it much more than all other KnK OSTs I've listened to before...>.<
 
It could very well be just PV musicks or the intro to Alleluia for all we know, lol. Doesn't sound very current-Kajiura-BGMish indeed.
