I even think this song, Ring Your Bell, has a happy tone to it. I heard it again today, their live tv spot version of it, and liked it more with this listen. I do say they are amazing live, and someone should give them a chance before turning them away. I know they started out with Kara no Kyoukai, which are "dark" films, but not all of their songs are dark. Lyrics may mean different things to different people too I guess. But the tone of the song, like RyB, is happier than say, Hikari furu (which I loved at ACen and made me tear up too, which is why I don't listen to it often) or lirica. Yes, Magia and some of their anime songs are dark, but that is what Yuki was asked to write for them. If she was asked to write more happy songs, like misterioso and mirai, then she would. I agree with the "no genre" thing, since when people say they sound like FJ or vice versa, it's because it's pretty much the same group of girls, but FJ is a little more rockfish, but Kala has their rock songs too.
Okay, I am done now. Back to talking about the single. I would have loved to hear this song on Budokan's Blu-ray, so I will be disappointed a little next month, since I just heard them sing it like I said before, and it was great. Wakana was powerful, Hikaru beautiful, and Keiko on spot as always.
