Kalafina new song "Μärchen" (メルヒェン) ED for Zaregoto OVA

"Marchen" sounds beautiful as a title ♥
I really have high hopes on Zaregoto OST. The music on the website sounds fantastic, if Kajiura can keep that level on the entire work, this will be a fantastic single!

Also, where on earth is "into the world"?

Yes they always reserved the Rekishi Hiwa Historia themes (after storia single) for being album tracks. title, or not.

LOL thinking about it the Kalafina song is possible that it will be a japanese version of the BGM currently on the website. Same has happened with many other times with Kalafina, seventh heaven, storia, manten, hikari furu

According to Google Translate, Märchen translates as fairytale.... so Kalafina will technically have 2 songs/singles called fairytale. Way to be original, Kajiura. Next we're going to get something like おとぎ話 (otogibanashi; fairytale in Japanese) :XD:

I noticed that too :XD:

Somehow, Märchen sounds slightly darker than fairytale in English, I don't know why. Maybe it is an associative thing that happens to me.
 
I really hope for dark, mysterious song... Like magia or something lighter. Magia was heavy, dark song... Marchen sounds darker than fairytale.
 
It's a title like any other. Revo doesn't have any exclusive rights to it and has nothing to do with Kajiura's body of work (as far as we know). They did a single together years ago... that's all. There's no need to write fanfics about it.

PS. Did you know there was a manga/anime called MÄR - Märchen Awakens Romance in the 2000s?

^ no it will not be german lol (maybe if it has yuri as chorus it will) but Kalafina will definetely have japanese lyrics to sing.
 
The chorus in german is very probable. I think it's time to release spectacular single like magia, which would be a real hit
 
For those of you who are/more familiar with German, how would one pronounce Μärchen? Is it fairly similar to the katakana?
 
So, instead of Me-ru-hi-e-n, the 'r' sound is shorter with the 'ä' a bit more pronounced, like Meh-r-he-en? Thanks for the clarification! I really should learn some German.
