If they use a song from one of the movies, it will be either from the second or the seventh one. I would bet in the main theme of KnK2, just as Kazado. But if they did M41+42, my god, I would die

Um... Forgive me for being a total noob regarding Yuki's music for KnK (I have yet to purchase and check out this soundtrack). I'm not sure how her music for that series is organized but anyway, here's what I understood about her message in that particular segment:
To quote elcazador, "snow falling" is done in the form of a cover for the KnK Epilogue's ED, which I assume is a new ending song performed in Kajiuran. She said she left the song as it was performed in coined word (Kajiuran) form, and for some reason, didn't feel fully satisfied with the BGM-sounding like outcome. Kalafina also wanted to do a proper song version and seemingly requested Yuki to let them do it. For "snow falling", Yuki added Japanese lyrics to that song and changed one part of the melody. The result is what she calls a "Kalafina version" of that particular song.

Well, that's about it. Feel free to correct me if I made any mistake (which is likely). I'm not that familiar with the "structure" of the KnK soundtracks. What does M(number) mean? Is it the track numbers? I know I deserve to get bashed for asking that. ^^;

It is okay not to know, don't feel ashamed because of that The fact is, KnK never had a proper discography. I think that the DVDs came with a Rip by ufotable but that was it. Hence, the songs have no names, and were "named" M"insert here a number".

About the cover, gosh, if it was a kajiuran song, it can be M01 from the first movie or...M41+42 I cried. HARD!

I bet in M01 from KnK1, M29/31 and M41+42. The others are generally themes of that specific movie, so it would be quite strange to use it in the epilogue. But I think M01 would be a bit strange as well, because Seventh Heaven is kind of a cover of it already

Well, I did bet that it was this song, but if it is a cover from a kajiuran song from any of the previous movies, it can't be it. That's why I didn't put it in the selection of possible songs to be covered.
