I think it'll probably be like Nohara, maybe with Wakana singing lead instead of Keiko. Probably very serene - bells ringing, those little wind-chime sounds, echoes... Can't wait to hear how it sounds!

the title is
I absolutely won't mind it being a ballad. But it's true that sometimes it's not safe to expect a ballad just by the title (Lirica, anyone? And Hoshi no Utai to boot )

Where's my symphonia?

Out of the three release possibilities, there were TWO with an instrumental NOT to be expected Now, only ONE such possibility left. Isn't that supposed to be good news?
So much the more that in case of a Symphonia single we get another c/w, i.e. YET ANOTHER NEW SONG.
And Kalafina's c/w songs tend to range from good to very good to Adore to Lirica.

Yeah, when I read cover I was so confused. If you think about the content of the epilogue, I can only imagine a cover of either Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku or Seventh Heaven.
