I don't know what's wrong with Wakana...her falsetto sounds a bit weird..., but it's quite obvious that all of her legatos are shorter than usual....not for the power, but the duration... it'd be fine if I haven't watched any Oblivious live before..., but it isn't... :uh..: .

I really enjoy with Hikaru falsetto and Keiko powerful singing...even she did a mistake in Oblivious...but her interaction with Hikaru after Hikaru found that made me lol... :XD: ...so cute..!! (Well...it isn't a big deal at all...) Ignoring their own mistakes and continuing the singing smoothly is a required skill for good live performer... :sparkleguy: . (Many inexperience singers get trouble or even stop their singing when it happens...but Keiko dealt with it nicely..^ ^.)

It doesn't have 2 seperate airings this year? Last year they had two different cuts of the show (day & night or whatever). Sure they cut some songs then too but still... I didn't really care/look into it this year.

btw, is symphonia the same pace or slower than the recording? Cos it sounds much slower live for some reason...:confu:

It's definitely the same pace, but it sounds slower because of the different drums. In the choruses of the recording, there's a steady synth bass drum on each beat, while in the live, the bass drum's only on the first beat of each measure. There isn't so much of a marching feel with that, I think.

She could still be recovering from the flu last year...if it was a very bad case, it takes a long time for your voice and lungs to recover. Or she might've had a cold recently :ayashii:

Magia and snow falling had been cut. :uh..:

Well, at least we've got Snow Falling to look forward to in the DVD...
I can't say I'm that upset about Magia, though.

^ I hope she's better now since this was last year's performance...

her voice is much rougher than usual and I keep getting the impression she sounds really tired and out of breath, so maybe it was the sickness that screwed up her lungs and breathing :omg:

It's a shame snow falling was cut cos I would've like to see how she did on that one since she seems to be better with those sort of slower songs/ballads

^ :XD: I also noticed in symphonia that Wakana and Hikaru do the same movements on stage as they do in the PV when Keiko's singing her bit at around 1:08 - 1:13 :XD:

And I agree about Wakana, she sounded a bit strained, it's weird...

It seems to me that she put a bit too much power when singing these days. My choir coach told me that forcing too much power doesn't do well with breathing, which might be the cause why she sounded strained.

I saw a comment in an ANIMAX live in youtube said that Wakana caught a flu before ANIMAX performance...I guess that it should be a recently one?...:confu:.

By the way... As for Kalafina's performances, I feel that they did better in a long program. I think someone also commented that they started not that good in a few first songs and then they did better after having some 'warm-up'... but I don't think it applies to Wakana's case...

^ why is she getting sick so much?? :omg: :omg: :omg:

Take better care of yourself, Wacchan!

Or maybe it's cos she talks too much offstage? :ayashii:

^ That would've only worn out her throat, not gotten her sick (unless you're suggesting the bug's point of entry)... :psst:

Oh noes! D: I hope Wakana rests well and feels better soon. Another flu eh? Well... as my aunt at the pharmacy would say, this time of the year is the flu season. >A<; The cold medicines and nasal sprays have been selling fast!!
