I loved both performances! :sohappy:

I liked Hikaru's falsetto in Oblivious more this time. I'm not sure why, though.

Symphonia was really nice. It still gave me goosebumps like the recording did. And Keiko's smile... :nosebleed:

Thanks a million Keiri~!

Symphonia is lovely, although Keiko's "symphoniaaaaa" is quite powerful. Kore-chan blends much more into the background than in the full-size recording, maybe because the orchestra isn't as loud here. And I see he's using his P Project again~ :dote:

I wonder if Hikuru's doing the falsetto background in the choruses? I hear some high chorus in her "hitotsu dake de susumu yo" part, even though Wakana's not singing, so I suppose they've got a recorded chorus too.

To be honest, Symphonia sounds much more like a ballad with the live drum style. It doesn't have much of the "marching" sound to it...actually sounds more calming than rousing. I think I might like the live version a little better... :ayashii:

I'm not watching Oblivious, though, since we've seen quite a few lives of it now.

One question about Oblivious: is Hikaru really singing these aaahs? 'cause it sounds like Wakana to me :confu:

@Alphie: Wakana only sings the first part of the "aa~". The rest is Hikaru. :tea:

Finally got to see symphonia live~~ :sohappy:

It's just me or Wakana's live performance quality is dropping nowadays? Hikaru is improving, Keiko is the most stable one, but Wakana's is dropping for me. Although this live oblivious is better than Animax Studio Musix, where Wakana sounds like she's gonna hiccup in some line..

Anyway, I love Keiko's expression and stage act in this one. Her expression was so deep and rich, but still humble and doesn't give a impression of overacting, like Hikaru's when Wakana and Keiko sing the kimi to, futari, yoru wo, asa wo etc. in oblivious and in symphonia interlude. But there's a shot where Hikaru looked and smiled to the camera, and it's really cool :D

S-S-S-SYMPHONIAAAAAAA~~~~~~~ :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

I have to say I sort of agree - but it still sounds like she's having trouble breathing :omg: in this oblivious performance. It's still passable for me though since she's singing mostly in tune, just her voice sounds, I dunno...permanently tired nowadays...maybe it's some breathing technique problem? :confu: but then, I wouldn't really know so...

Symphonia was :nosebleed: :nosebleed: But yeah, I think that although it isn't as powerful and uplifting as the recording ver., it sounds more calming and peaceful live...

btw, is symphonia the same pace or slower than the recording? Cos it sounds much slower live for some reason...:confu:

Thank you Keiri! Oblivious was fine, really close to the Seventh Heaven DVD performance, I enjoyed it. The part of symphonia with Keiko's lines was awesome, what sounded really bad was "Mayoi to /tamerai no izanai wo susumu yo" by Hikaru :uh..: the rest of the song was fine.

did they aired the snow falling performance too ? :confu:

^ omg snow falling live :nosebleed: :stars: - I hope it was aired :touched:, but I could only find oblivious and symphonia can be found on youtube after searching...

Magia and snow falling had been cut. :uh..:

It's a Sony? Or the resident butcher of Animax?
Sony is the founder and one of the sponsors of Animax so it's Sony's fault all together. :XD:

But damn, it sure is a mighty shame that "snow falling" was axed.

Aww I was looking forward to snow falling :rain:

I really liked the performances! Especially Symphonia, I've been wanting to hear it live for a loooong time now and I'm absolutely thrilled! It was beautiful! :sohappy:

I'm a fan of the heavier percussion of the recorded version, so this one sounded kind of stripped down, but it's nice too :shy:

And I agree about Wakana, she sounded a bit strained, it's weird...
