^ They performed ARIA with just the three of them on the Red Moon DVD, so I don't think they'd have trouble singing it again.

I'm curious too. They didn't didn't sing oblivious much until recently (as far as I know). :confu:

I'd like if they did ARIA or Kimi ga, but I wish they'd sing Seventh Heaven as the KnK song.

^ I think the reason they don't sing Seventh Heaven very much is because in the original, there's mainly strings, synth and nothing else. So while short songs with piano+violin like Haru wa and Sapphire are fine in lives, I think they probably figure that a slow seven-minute song with no guitar/bass/drums at all wouldn't interest the audience very much.

Although I want to hear Seventh Heaven very much, I can kinda understand their reasoning - after all, when you listen to the cheers after each song on the Red Moon DVD, the audience sounds somewhat tepid after slower songs and much more enthusiastic after upbeat ones. I suppose that explains why they only sing Sprinter/Oblivious as the KnK songs at any given event, too...Kimi ga Hikari is more of a ballad, and I suppose Aria might be a tad too slow, or else they don't want to risk Wakana having problems on the penultimate chorus...

It is interesting, though, how they kept on going with Hikari no Senritsu for a while but only recently switched from Sprinter to Oblivious. :confu:

People in general have no patience for ballads. I'd have no problems with that, but since setlists are created for the majority, I'll never be able to listen to my favorite song live (although I'm afraid that they would eventually screw it up). On the other hand, I have to accept that they will sing most of the songs I could care less for the rest of their lives. Saaaaad.

They haven't performed Seventh Heaven that much yet.Maybe they're starting to perform all Kara no Kyoukai songs Live. :D

Thinking about it now...have they ever performed seventh heaven live? I don't know of a time when they did... :confu:

No, they have already performed it, just check the setlists in the main site. The thing is, as time goes by, they are performing less and less songs from Seventh Heaven (and now I mean the album). They maintain some key songs, like Ongaku, oblivious and sprinter, but the rest...

^I didn't said they never performed Seventh Heaven, but haven't performed it that much/rarely. .

Thinking about After Eden.

I do think it's encouraging that Seventh Heaven was just performed in January...but then again, they didn't perform it at all during the Magia tour.

I suppose it's just a toss-up as to whether they'll perform it more or not...either way, I think the upbeat songs off Seventh Heaven will outlast most of the others, though. On that note, I would love to finally get a well-mixed version of Serenato live!

^ Oh, yeah, I can understand their reasoning then. A 6-7 minute slow song isn't that appealing to audiences, unless they're all lovers of "seventh heaven", which they can't know.

Yes! I would also like a well mixed version of serenato. Hopefully in the near future. Pretty please! :plz: I do like that song.

YES GIVE US SERENATO LIVE :nosebleed: :nosebleed:
The existing live (from Hong Kong I think?) was alright, I guess...Hikaru was a bit loud for chorus...and I think it would've sounded better if she used falsetto for Yuriko's chanting parts...but Wakana and Keiko did a good job~ and Hikaru has been improving it seems so by all means~~~ :dote: :dote:

^She was indeed loud that it destroyed the mood of the song for me :[
more Serenato Live please

@murrue
I know that, my post was for Cerise (even though I quoted you). But it worked for you because you said that maybe "they're starting to perform all Kara no Kyoukai songs Live", and at least what I understood from it was that they haven't sang the songs in the past, which isn't accurate.

@ninetales
I still find that odd. Why did they perform it? They have pretty much giving up on it lol Just to tease me.

I wonder if they are not tired of performing same and same songs again :uh..:
I agree with the statements about no patience to ballads and slow-tempo songs. That's why I was surprised to see Symphonia and Snow falling in the setlist.

maybe their aiming for more popular songs for rating :ayashii:

and put new song after the popular song to promote the new ones :ayashii:

I think in those days, Hikari no Senritsu is their "brightest&happiest" song that they have&it also made a good rank on Oricon.., but now they have more songs in that type from After Eden... I guess that they will perform Hikari no Senritsu fewer and fewer in the future.

^ Good point, but I'm thinking more of their two-to-four-song setlists at events, where they normally sing their anime OP, ED, or insert songs. Over the past year or so they've almost worn out Hikari no Senritsu, singing it at practically every event they've done, and now they seem to have abruptly stopped singing that one and moved on to Oblivious. I don't mind it...I just find it interesting since Oblivious is much older than Hikari no Senritsu.

But you're right - in their solo concerts, they'll likely cut out Hikari no Senritsu altogether since there are so many upbeat songs off After Eden.

Before the authorities come sweeping in... :ohoho:
