Kalafina in Budokan 28 February - 01 March 2015

I hope they'll also invite Yoshiaki Sato for Blue Day since it'll definitely have Kimi no Gin no Niwa and signal. And yeah, strings quartet plz.

I'm all for this live performances to be on dvd/BD if they fill the remaining songs slot with songs that haven't been on BD/DVD before. They only have 14 songs on the best Red (prelude excluded) and 15 on the best Blue. There are empty slots for around 6 songs each day. The remaining KnK themes that aren't on the best album is welcomed (like serious they put the horrible snow falling on Best Blue. fairytale calms you down and is MUCH better than snow falling. Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete iku is also MUCH better than snow falling) Red Moon era B-sides are also welcomed *Gloria not so much though*. New songs (especially lapis and Tsuioku) are really welcomed.

(too bad it'll still have Sato on drums) (I'm sorry)

Any chance for strings or will it just be Konno
I really don't see any possibility for their two day 2014 "tour" to be more grand than their big budokan live. Then again, things I find to be logically impossible have happened before. *coughnokajifesBDcough*

I think that songs, which was main track in singles, would be included (e.g. progressive, fairytale, believe, HB...) and some songs from albums (I hope tetoteto, fantasia, magnolia, door, love come down AND SERENATO pls!). I doubt that tracks from b-side will appear in setlist :touched: Maybe 1 or 2 songs (I pray for IEN and tsuioku)

I suspect, unfortunately, that it'll be pretty much the tracklists of the Best albums, plus a few other well known pieces like Believe (ugh) and Progressive, since it got missed somehow. The tracklists really aren't very good though, so that's a disappointment. If they added in some album stuff like Hanataba, Kyrie, Serenato, Obbligato, Door, Magnolia or Destination Unknown I'd be happy, though. Unfortunately b-sides are probably out although I'd love for In Every Nothing, Utsukushisa. Tsuioku or Lirica to be there. Hell, I'd be fine with dropping Eden, Mune no Yukue, Misterioso, Heavenly Blue, Mirai and Snow Falling as honestly it wouldn't be much of a loss, I still dislike how they included practically every song I don't care for in the supposed 'best' lists.

Still, I'd be surprised if they don't go all out on it. It's Budokan, after all, and it's taken way too long for them to get there. I'm expecting numerous guests, the decent chance of a live release and one of the best performances they've done in a long time. The Live Tour 2014 footage and France both prove that they've still got it, so let's see what they can do. I just wish I was there.

Those who are attending, look out for a recording truck like this:

@Seasonreaper I remember our discussions about this! It seems that domestic and international fans have different ideas about what their favourite tracks are, so from our POV the choices in the setlists might seem a bit strange or disappointing. e.g. I'd personally like to see b-sides, more 'rock'-orientated tracks and a refreshing break from anime tie-ins to shake things up a bit, but realistically they have to cater for people going to these shows having different expectations. On the bright side, it is THE FREAKIN' BUDOKAN so there could be one or two pleasant surprises in terms of guest appearances and songs played, to mark the occasion. Sorry about the caps lock, but eh. This is such a big deal, and I'm really excited (and a tad apprehensive) for the people involved!

I'd think that since believe was released fairly recently they'd perform at least one b-side
but also since it's a 2day live I'd think there's a better chance for a few more songs not typically performed/released

I believe that since the live days are after the albums they will perform the contents of each CD + believe songs.

@Kuga: That thing will be inside the venue ? O_O

If the strings quartet will be present alongside Akagi Rie, just about any song will be worth releasing on BD to me.

Guess I'll be scouting around.
Do update us on the event day itself if you see the truck!

Pose of Keiko in red dress is just... amazing  All girls look beautiful. Too bad that postcards are too small to look now

Vol 1? So it would be more accesories for this live?

what irks me the most is the fact that they have decently designed (some even really good) dresses for photo session/merchandise related items like these but they choose to wear dresses with horrible design for their live events. I still can't get over the horrible dresses that are their LisAni live 5 dresses. WHY KALAFINA WHY.
