Kalafina in Budokan 28 February - 01 March 2015

^ could be both, the correct is "TALE" (i guess the person who typed it watches Fairytail :XD: )

Mah bad ahah! Thanks, Kowz. I still gotta get used to hearing the differences in their voices... Does Yuriko have any solo songs or any songs where she is more apparent so I can get used to her voice?I know she's in a lot of background vocals..

She has alot but most are in kajiurago. try "das wandern" from .hack which is in german, and noir tracks like lulaby (ost ver), canta per me, salva nos (ost ver), and gensou rakuen, which is in the 3rd CD of noir (blanc dans noir) inca rose from elcazador, sei otome no inori, - Lilac ~ Utsukushiki Chigiri, from mai otome, Jr#2 from xenosaga II and there are more.

Check out Himitsu and Here we stand in the morning dew from Everlasting Songs. For anime soundtracks, Inca Rose, The main theme of petite cossette, and Chiisana Doukeshi should give you a good idea of how her voice sounds.

thanks!

bad digest since the footage shown is different from audio for the most part. Yume no Daichi sounded really nice

Tried to upload it Youtube for the newspost but got banned imidiately. what's the point of banning promotional material ?!?!

SME probably has it all submitted for auto detect. It bans indiscriminately.

As for the region lock on their own video, it's probably the default setting for all videos uploaded via their channel. Not that it makes it any less annoying. In fact, I'm f**king annoyed. I'm a customer willing to pay through the nose for them but they don't seem to want my money.

And I noticed that they didn't give us much of Hikaru. They showed mostly the Wakana lead songs. Hikaru had what.. one part of Hikarifuru and sprinter, where she sounded really soft. It makes me kind of worried about how Hikaru will sound. Still, I'm hyped for it. I have them pre-ordered for pick up in July~

Totally agree! Just sooo annoying! I mean, what's the point of making their Youtube channel available only in Japan, and deleting so many videos of Kalafina from Youtube? :voodoo:

There are soooo many fans overseas, Kalafina have been very popular thoughout the world, why haven't they (SME) consider about that (don't they realize that their sale figures could increase if more people know about Kalafina)? :stupidtable:

Wow, so much Kaladansu! I wonder for which song is dance from 0:22, 0:37 (tetoteto me to me), 1:01 (magia?),? They took off their jackets - Wakana looked so cool. :shy:

Yeah, this is unfair - SME! :anger:

I think this might be further proof that a period of rest before an event is highly beneficial to Wakana. I just hope the few days between the concerts in October will be enough for her then, I think seeing her on top form might just kill me.

either she was on top condition or the audio is heavily processed :p

anyway I'll shut my crap. adieu.

Goes to show how much of a duplicate the two songs are. Believe goes "meguri kuru toki no naka de deatta" while heavenly blue goes "akogare no sumau aoi hoshi no hikari".

I remember it since heavenly blue's first line of the chorus has "aoi" in it, which means blue, and thus heavenly blue.

That is a good way to remember it. I never noticed that. I admit I haven't really listened to either song more than a handful of times, so that could also be why I never realized it was not believe.

Choreography when it comes to formation changes and stage position is something I like seeing instead of just the girls standing around. But, when it comes to dance choreography, none is better. Kyrie is terrible in all subsequent releases after the Red Moon BD due to the octopus arms in the intro, and I hate Magia, Manten, in your eyes and moonfesta's dances. Unless the girls take proper dancing lessons or hire a real choreographer, no dance is fine, thanks. And the dramatic arms thing is getting pretty unintentionally funny as well, like in sandpiper's instrumental section.

I agree with this. Some of their movements are okay, but seeing that small digest video, I'm either inwardly cringing or laughing at some of the silly moves. They may look like they're having fun, but I find that in some songs even their expressions seem staged, so I can't tell if they are told to express a certain way or they're naturally doing it. I like watching Kalafina, but I am more entertained when I watch FJ.

As long as they sing so good live a little dancing is admirable. BUT PLEASE NOT THOSE STUPID MOVES. (I'm actually scaried because I find those stupid moves fitting their style. What am I becoming?)

Some of Kala-dance look really strange. 1:00 they're swimming? With some moves they looked like robots. Dance like during sandpiper, old magia was nice but octopus in Kyrie - NO! It was strange... I don't like when they was too static but when they do strange moves like in trailer.... :hide: It doesn't fit to Kalafina! It's really looking funny.

If they (Kalafina) are so dorky, what are you doing here @PopSock ? Everyone here loves their but choreography in this video is weak
