^ well, as Keiri said few pages ago, Anisama's setlist usually consists of the latest song and a classics. And unfortunately, sprinter IS the classics.

I still won't accept this 3-person version no matter what. I want Maya back. that's it. :glasses:

Anyway, from OH-news (only 1 pic for now):
:nophoto:
Somehow I can guess where Kalafina is standing :XD:

EDIT

Why is it ALWAYS Sprinter? There are at least three other live versions of Sprinter floating around out there! Do another KnK song, for goodness' sake! :blood:

Because sprinter is a good song for a live. Think for instance about people that still don't know about Kalafina listening to, let's say, Kizuato. They would most probably be bored (unfortunately). Well, since the other possible option always tends to be oblivious, I guess I can't complain much that it was sprinter in the end lol

Agree with KP-X. Besides how the performers normally choose their songs for AniSama, the thing is that not many of Kalafina's songs have the same energy as "sprinter" when we're talking about their tracks which have Anime tie-ins. "Ongaku" for example, is a good song for a live but it's not very suitable for an Anison live since it has no tie-in, and especially not if Kalafina are performing for the first time with a very limited number of songs in a varied Anison concert like AniSama. You could call their choices a "strategy" of sorts in making a good and safe first impression, particularly to people who have probably never listened to their music prior to the event. If Kalafina are invited to AniSama again, perhaps for a couple more times, and have established their presence there then they can move on to doing good live songs which have no Anime/game tie-ins like what Mizuki Nana and Chihara Minori are doing.

Hikaru: Right, this is my first time at Saitama Super Arena so I'm really nervous but... To everyone who is watching us now (on this backstage program), please...send your power to me! Please! I'll go and do my best!

Man, whenever Hikaru "jokes" she always ends up being SEW KEWT. :dote:

And LOL @ Keiko physically tsukkomi-ing Wakana. Haven't seen something like that for a while. :XD:

@KP-X/Keiri: I see your points. I guess because I'm a fan, I wouldn't mind them doing anything from Oblivious to Snow Falling to Fantasia...so it's tough to see the non-fan's perspective. I won't complain about Sprinter anymore :innocent:

Coincidentally, did they have a band for this live or was it just karaoke? :confu:

EDIT

TM Revolution :cheer:

Gosh, she was off-tune during the WHOLE song? I thought it was during some points, but the whole song is a little bit too much. I mean, sprinter is a really tricky song and all, but she didn't sing that much before it. She did sang Magia right before it, but since it doesn't require that much out of her voice, it is a bit disappointing. Well, I hope she will overcome this in the near future.

I thought Magia was the best song possible to warm Hikaru up for sprinter, since she gets some low note practice and those "negai"s are good prep for sprinter's long notes. Meh. =/

^But since she was already having problems in fairytale (according to the report), it seems Magia only made things worse. I wonder if she messed up the "sayonara" again...= =

>___> I feel like Hikaru has the most to work on in lives, vocals-wise. She sounds like she tends to over sing (to the point of almost screaming sometimes) and has trouble with her high notes. She HAS improved over the years, though, which gives me hope for her future performances. :sparkleguy:

Very off-topic thought: I wonder who gives Kalafina pointers on their singing. Whoever they are, they need to fix that "sayonara"! Fairytale sounded so dainty and lovely... that is, until Hikaru sang. :XD:

^ If you're talking about the Red Moon version of Fairytale, I have to disagree about the 'sayonara'...I find that the live Fairytale has a completely different mood than the studio version, with a lot more sadness and hopelessness in it, and that starts with Keiko's solo verse and goes on from there till about the 'sayonara'. Just my opinion, but Hikaru's 'sayonara' always gives me chills and I think it fits perfectly. It sounds as though she's calling 'goodbye...' to a departing ship from a cliff near the ocean.

At any rate, I hope her Sprinter was okay this time...

@Are you serious, ninetales? She nearly shouts the sayonara. It would be interesting if the mood was the only difference in the live version, but it seems to me that she simply can't sing it properly. Especially since it is a ballad, it seems odd for her to nearly shout live. But oh well, to each his own.

Damn Chiaki looks so mighty fine!!!i wish i am that beautiful when i reach her age (even though i am a guy)
