Kalafina in ANISAMA 2011 Day 2

^ Oh, okay. Thanks for correcting me...I get those events confused because they seem to all have 'ani' in their names :XD:

So since Kala's never performed there before, I wonder what songs they'll sing, aside from Magia and their other usual songs... :ayashii:

@ninetales: my bet will be 1st song Magia, 3rd song Hikari no Senritsu. 2nd song could be just anything.

Basic formula for AniSama songs generally goes like: old classic/famous song + recent/new unreleased song + any other popular songs. That is if the artist is performing three songs although this is usually a privilege given to recurrent AniSama artists like Mizuki Nana, JAM Project and Kuribayashi Minami, or well known and established first time AniSama artists like KOTOKO for example. Artists who are participating for the first time normally do not get three songs (they either get to perform only one or two of their own tracks) but I bet Sony would play a part in pushing it somehow like they did for Sphere last year who got three songs despite being new participants at AniSama.

As for Kalafina's AniSama performance, "Magia" is a given. If they get three songs, the other two could be one of the KnK themes (maybe "oblivious" or "sprinter") and perhaps "Hikari no Senritsu", "Lacrimosa" or "KagayakuSora".

Um, AniSama 2009 = Animelo Rebridge. Or its full name - Animelo Summer Live 2009: Rebridge. :V:

Haha I wish that will happen even though chances are slim....plus if Kalafina goes up that doesn't mean Yuki Kajiura will be there... and what does "special guest" mean? Special guests are usually surprise guests, but this time they announced it straight on. So likely they won't make it to the live stream, or even the DVD version.... but I hope they stay!! I haven't heard the two company's backgrounds so I don't know why Sony like to do that...

Magia will probably be there, and Hikari no Senritsu, since that's too good to miss. They performed that during Music Japan Anison SP~

Now more reasons for me to watch August 28th one. In the 2009 one I don't know if they did it on purpose but Chiaki and FJ were at separate days so Yuki didn't meet with Chiaki or vice versa T_T

Nakagawa Shouko was labeled as a "special appearance" for AniSama 2009 just like Kalafina was for this year's and... Nakagawa's performance didn't make it to the DVD. So we may have a double whammy here. It's likely Kalafina may be cut from both the live stream AND the Blu-ray/DVD release. ^^;;;

Yeah you're right, Keiri. Higher possibilities that Kalafina will be cut off the release, whichever it is. :XD:

@george: well, it all depends on the performer's "capacity" and I thought they would give Kalafina the slot with 3 songs since they gave Sphere such slot last year :TdT:

Not to sound pessimistic but...kinda expected Kalafina to get two songs instead of three. That's the way Anisama usually goes, I guess (hence why I'm not surprised that Mizuki Nana got SIX songs inclusive of collabs with JAM PROJECT, Horie Yui and Endoh Masaaki). For Sphere, well... I reckon it has something to do with their presence and popularity in the Anime and Anison world (compared to Kalafina even though they're both under Sony). Of course, I could just be spouting BS, which I most probably am. :XD:

Er... There's no live streaming this year. ^^;;;

From what I gathered, there's a backstage footage instead where two hosts (For Day 1, it was Shiraishi Minoru and Yamamoto Ayano; Day 2, it was Washizaki Takeshi and Asou Natsuko) interview the artists before or after the latter go on stage to perform.

But who knows, they may come up with a digest documentary later where they do a summary of the live or something. :/

Why is it ALWAYS Sprinter? There are at least three other live versions of Sprinter floating around out there! Do another KnK song, for goodness' sake! :blood:
