『Kalafina Live in L.A.!!』

皆さん、こんにちは。
ポテチよりフライドポテト、
ハンバーガーよりチーズバーガー、
レタスよりキャベツが好きな
Hikaruです。

初L.A. Live、無事に終了しました!
来てくださった皆さん、
ありがとうございました!
気持ちを飛ばして下さった皆さん、
ありがとうございました!

It was very nice seeing everyone here!

会場いっぱいのお客さんに
驚きと喜びが溢れて、
凄くエネルギッシュなステージになりました。
自己紹介の時に
お客さんがHappy Birthdayと言ってくれて
嬉し恥ずかしでしたが、
これもまた今日のLiveをするパワーになりました。

Thank you for all the birthday wishes!
It gave me a lot of power!!

今日はL.A.でKalafinaの音楽を
思いっきり届けられたと思います。
AmericaでのLiveは２回目だったけど、
また新しいAmericaの方々に出会えて、
一緒に音楽を感じる事が出来て、
とても幸せでした。

そして、日本から駆けつけてくれた皆さん、
ありがとうございました。
海外で日本人に会えるとホッとしますね(笑)
皆さんがくれたパワーを
歌に、パフォーマンスに変えられました。

今回はAnime ExpoでのLiveという事で、
Kalafinaが関わらせて頂いた
アニメ作品の楽曲を中心に
セットリストを考えて
Liveをしてきました。

たくさんの素晴らしいアニメ作品に
関わらせて頂けて、
海外でもアニメ作品を見て
Kalafinaを知って下さる方々がいて、
これって凄い事だなって思います。
日本の文化である"アニメ"を
海外の皆さんが受け入れて下さって
楽しんでくれている事も、
そこからKalafinaの楽曲を知って、
聴いて下さっている事も、
頭では分かっているつもりでしたが、
このようなイベントで
Liveをして実際に
そのような海外の皆さんとお会いすることで、
改めて実感出来ました。

I knew that people in America knows about Kalafina through Anime,
but it made me feel happy to actually see that here at Anime Expo.

L.A.でLiveをする事が出来て
本当によかったです!
この経験を糧に
日本でまた頑張って活動したいと思います!
そしてまた、
L.A.でLiveが出来きたらいいなと思います。

I'm so glad that we were able to come to L.A.!
We will come back here again,
and I look forward to seeing all of you again!

Indeed. She's doing very well for her English... but if she comes to moi, I'll make her even better at Mandarin~~ :ohoho:

Yep, great English by Hikaru there. I like how she's conscious of the language barrier between them and their international fans. She makes good use of her ability and pronounces English words in the native English speaker way whenever they're overseas compared to how she uses the usual Japanese pronunciation of English words whenever they're back home in Japan (Kinda like how she pronounced "Kalafina" in the Western manner in their Crunchyroll interview. For a second there, I almost got fooled into thinking "Hey, why is the translator saying "We're Kalafina." instead?" until I listened carefully and realized it was actually Hikaru who said it. Come to think of it, she had said it in that way in one of their Kalafina Club episodes before). :shy:

It's kinda stupid for the audiences who got to ask the girl for not asking about their 3rd album at all, even if they wouldn't answer it either way :rain:

@yuki88: come to think of it, there's nothing said about the 3rd album,aren't they aware of it,the western fans? :XD:

Since you have a 3rd album coming out, will you be performing any of the songs from it for the concert that will be held on July 2nd?

The third album is still currently in production stages. Since we want this live to represent the current Kalafina, we will be using songs that we have already released. But when the album comes out, we look forward to performing them perhaps at a future Anime Expo.
