KALAFINA AT ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA (AFA) INDONESIA 2013

Not yet for me. Hoping that the VIP tickets for both days are still available by the time I decide to buy them... ugh, money so slow
 
Is there anyway to find out which songs are Kalafina going to perform? :confu:
 
^No. You can only speculate. No artist would ever ruin the surprise by announcing what they're going to perform.

From experience, it will be ~6 anime related songs + 1 non-anime song that is well suited for high energy lives. The anime songs should contain at least one ballad (probably Hikarifuru this time), usually performed as the second/third song.

I think chances of Symphonia being performed is pretty low. It's a non-anime song and it's not exactly recent either.

If anything, something from Consolation being performed is more likely. My guess is either Signal or Consolation. Yume no daichi is possible if they choose not to go with Hikarifuru or any of the KnK ballads.

Oh yes, Ongaku is pretty much a given unless they decide to change things up.

For reference:
At AFA: non-anime song was Ongaku only IIRC
At AFAMY: ongaku and destination unknown
 
Secured my VIP ticket for the concert. Almost all people who tweeted to AFA ID official twitter account said that they can't wait for Kalafina, and secured their September 7th ticket as well. I pretty much feel sorry for Babymetal already for they're not well known (and pretty much the only reason why people think twice to buy the ticket.) and I couldn't imagine the crowd's reaction on their part.

A part of me still kinda hoping for they to cancel Babymetal and fripside and let Kalafina has the second day all to themselves, but that's kinda impossible, lol.

Well I take back what I said. It seems there's one person who'll be there for Babymetal. Anyway, I just looked at Babymetal videos on youtube. Their Megitsune is not bad. My only reaction after watching their videos is only : What's the point of having that 2 little girl in a group when the only one singing is the tallest one? /me doesn't understand.
 
I bought a VIP ticket. Which may have been hasty, I have no idea if I can actually make my way to Jakarta :desksweat:

Oh, and just watched some Babymetal videos. Well...while the other 2 doesn't sing, they provide backup (ie, 'scream', like the 'zoid zoid zoid' in Megitsune) with their voices, put out some hype for the fans, and give depth to Su-metal's voice. Which reminds me, Su-metal looks a bit like Luna Haruna if she puts her hair down... Although... Metal isn't really my cup of tea.... :@_@:

Okay, I listened to Megitsune, and it's actually a decent metal song. But they're still basically an idol group, and I cannot bring myself to take them seriously...If I want metal, they are much better groups to listen to, IMO. But I guess they may appeal to a certain section of the idol fanbase.

I hope Kalafina have at least learnt from AFA '11 and AFA MY that they should prepare an encore :XD:
 
I think it will be quite for them to have encore base on past AFA experience..

Well... I can't travel overseas alone even though I'm also a working 20s adult.
plus if I have school on either fri or sat it's game over... Will need to bring a family member along but they're all either busy or don't have any motivation to go along... and by the time I convince them the tickets will prob have gone... :blood:

But I really want to see Kalafina live... :orz: they'll (and in all likelihood FJ) probably be too busy to make it to AFA Singapore seeing they will release 2 songs one after the other (or together) during that period... :uh..:
 
Yes! See you guys in Indonesia! I finally got to order my VIP ticket!

Now it's the plane tickets that I have to settle then, since I do not have any problems with where I should stay in Jakarta now :3

CONSOLATION WILL GET AN INDONESIA RELEASE. Sony Music Indonesia has confirmed it via their twitter.
