Their vocals were good, but the editing and the camera angles really turned me off and I couldn't enjoy it since I just didn't like the amateurish post-production. :blood:

What I also didn't like was the costumes. Good concept, bad execution. Way too poofy and silver doesn't suit any of the girls.

Still, the interview and the recording of Consolation was really interesting to watch.

Oblivious - 7/10. Pretty average performance of this song, and SH DVD still remains my favorite one.
love come down - 6/10. Weak vocals on this song overall, especially for Hikaru. She's stretching her chest voice too much, and should use her regular head voice for this song since it fits with her higher register.
moonfesta - 9/10. Awesome overall. I love this live, and on par with the studio version.
Manten - 8/10. Better than Type-Moon Fes, simply because there isn't any of that awkward snake summoning.
to the beginning - 9/10. Great job as usual. Par with Type-Moon Fes.
Mata Kaze ga Tsuyokunatta - 7.5/10. Good, but I pereferred the red Moon DVD.
Ongaku - 7/10. Same with Mata Kaze.
Kimi ga Hikaru ni Kaete yuku - 9/10. I can really feel the emotions the girls put into this song, and Wakana's more prominent head voice finally fits in this song. I still don't like Keiko using her overly cutesy voice for the beginning just because it was like that in the recording. SH DVD which was deeper and darker was a lot more amazing.
Hikari Furu - 9/10. Even more beautiful than the studio version. That's all I have to say.
Mirai - 8.5/10. Still prefer the original Credens Justitiam because it doesn't have the drums in it and the flute is more fitting than the violin plus Yuriko always makes the song better.
sprinter - 9.5/10. Best performance of the evening, though Keiko may be a little too energetic for my tastes. :XD:

Good overall, but not what I would consider on the same level as their other live releases. Is it me, or does the pitch correction seem VERY prominent here?

Late review...lol. Can I complain that they look like idols too much...? lol... Well..I'm fine with this, as long as they don't need to reduce their singing rehearsal time to do those non-music-related idol activities like acting, going on long term variety shows, practicing full-song choreography, etc.

1. Oblivious Nothing outstanding... Hikaru sounds a bit awkward at the start, but she did well in her falsetto part. Wakana sounds quite flat, but not that bad. Keiko was just in her standard. Not the worst IMO, but still far from a 'good' one.

2. Love comes down Keiko did fine... I barely heard Wakana high note parts. Hikaru was back to her old-day annoying live-performed voice again..., but it sounds better since the bridge. In some parts, I saw that Hikaru put so much effort in singing those parts, but it turned out that I barely heard her voice... some sound system problem or they edited her voice...?

3. Moonfesta Ok...this is the first song I enjoy with in this live. Hikaru and Keiko delivered a fun and cute atmosphere to the song. Wakana may sound not best but she sounds more lively and less strain than the recording version. Their lalala is really enjoyable. I really love the live instrumental. Hikaru also did the high-note part so well at the end of the bridge. (I'm quite surprised....good job HiChan.)

4. Manten Seems like everyone was back to their usual (good) standard in this song. I still prefer the Typemoon version. Sounds like Keiko tried to sing her bridge softer than she did. It went well with the song atmosphere, but I just prefer her darker&fiercer old style.

Rehearsal part - Quite surprise that Yuki didn't show-up in their rehearsal...maybe just on that day...?
- I saw Ghibli studio-style folder laid besides Wakana....:D...

5. To the beginning The hook sounds too high for Wakana...she strained herself so much. I don't like Keiko's line during the bridge. Wakana sounds better at the end of the bridge and afterwards. She delivered the last hook quite well.

6. Mata kaze ga tsuyoku natta Hikaru did well in this song...strong and fierce, and not much annoying...(IMO) Wakana's Kajiurago also smooth and beautiful. I love Keiko in this song as well. Best Mata Kaze live IMO... Keiko's&Hikaru's legato are really nice&epic..!!! The keyboard sounds extremely messy but it went well with the song. Love the drum here...^ ^.

7. Ongaku It sounds really lively and energetic. I like how they moved during the performance. The drum is really nice... I think I'm already a fan of SatoSan..lol. Konno's reaction was really...lol. (I like it :P), and Korenaga was really hot during his solo, and what would be better than Konno's solo at the front of the stage...>_______<. The girls' singing is as nice as always for this song, even I've never pleased with too-loud Hikaru chorus during Keiko's lines.

8. Kimi ga hikaru ni kaete yuku I know since the first note that I don't like Keiko in this song...sorry...Orz..., but Wakana was really nice here, except some high note parts during the bridge.

9. Hikari furu was nicer than I expected. I'm more ok with Keiko singing in this song...it's a kind of softer and smoother. But I think Hikaru sounds too stiff and aggressive in the bridge, and the keyboard improvisation is just a big NO... Keiko's legato at the end of the bridge was nice as well, but Wakana's at the end wasn't that good... Seem like I'm the only one here who don't like it...(.__.")

- Even I can't understand what they're talking, it's nice to see Yuki working with the girls...

10. Mirai The instrumental was really nice that I paid less attention on the singing..lol. The music here sounds ALIVE. Wakana sounds ok for Kajiurago. Feel like some of her parts were just faded out...(because they sound so bad at live or it's quite beyond her range so her singing was too soft to hear.....? =w=.) Keiko was really nice during the bridge.

11. Sprinter I like it. Keiko really sprinted on the stage and I'm so surprised that she still managed to sing her part really nice. (Now I suspect that Keiko may be able to sing and dance perfectly at the same time like those K-pop idols are supposed to be able to.) Hikaru did really good in legato. Wakana was also in a good standard.

My favourite

1. Ongaku I love the girls singing in Mata Kaze more, but I'm a fan of Ongaku and never a fan of Mata Kaze+the musicians made it an epic live..!!!
2. Mata kaze ga tsuyoku natta Even I've never fallen for this song. But they sang it so well in this live.
3. Sprinter
4. Moonfesta

No more 'impressive' performances for me from this live...sorry...

I wrote this a while back but never posted it :ohoho: /is shot :imdead:

Overall:
This was so lovely to watch, not just because of the performances but also because of the interviews (even though I could barely understand a word of what was being said, but anywayyyyy :knife: :XD: ) It was so enjoyable watching the girls talk amongst themselves (Wakana and her weird helicopter arm movements in the first segment :XD: )

The whole atmosphere and mood of the concert was especially warm, inviting and I guess, a lot more intimate(?) than their Red Moon/After Eden/Other concerts. The girls themselves seemed to interact much more with not only the audience, but also each other on stage.

Side note: W-W-Wakanaaaaaaaa~~~~~~~ :touched: :touched: :touched: *heart is wrenched* Almost made me cry to see her crying at the end :TdT: :TdT: So touching to see her emotionally moved by the fans' messages :touched: Proof of how much they genuinely value and care about and treasure their fans :TdT: And Keiko was such a sweetie to tell Wacchan it's okay to let out her feelings… :shy: :shy:

I really love that 3-second shot at the end with Mirai still playing in the background and the shot of the three girls from behind reading through the lovely fan messages on the wall, with Hikaru bending over sideways to read one. It just felt like a really poignant shot of them ;A;

oblivious:
- not much to say, everything was okay and there was nothing out of place really...was just a normal performance :XD:

love come down:
- same as oblivious, except I could barely hear Wakana XD

moonfesta:
- I like how Hikaru used a sweet/warm sounding 'cute' voice rather than the 'kiddy' cute voice (like in the studio) Somehow it makes her voice sound smoother and more…'rolling'? (if that's the right word lol). Her kajiurago after Wakachan's part was nice~ :shy:
- Wakana: Good solo :goodjob: But I would have liked it if she'd sung her original 'echo' parts instead of sacrificing those to do the high harmony (at least, I think that’s what she was singing instead…)

manten:
- the singing was about as good as Type Moon's, but the performance overall was more compelling and less hilarious due to lack of amusing choreography. :ohoho:

to the beginning:
- on par with Type Moon's. I think maybe Wakana sounded a bit weaker, but not sure if that was just the muffled weird sound quality...

Mata Kaze ga:
- The singing wasn't as good as other performances of this song, but obviously Hikaru and Keiko were having an awesome time lol…like tabi, I loved Keiko's MARRY ME HIKARU moment Poor Wakana seemed a bit left out most of the time on the other side of the stage but her kajiurago was the best part the song for me. I think the other two were getting a bit too excited and had a few stray notes :XD:

Ongaku:
- I LOVED the part at the beginning where Keiko had her arm around the other two! And then a rare WaaxHii moment as they came down the stairs together!  :shy: :shy: Give me moar of this in future lives pleeeaasseeee~~~!! (while we're on this note, I LOVE YOUR SIG CRUELANGEL!! :waii: :chuu: )
- also liked how Korechan and Hitoshi got some limelight :plot: Korechan sure looked like a slick ladies man :ohoho: And is it just me or did Hitoshi do his solo different this time? I like it, it sounded like he was being adventurous or something :XD:
- Wakana's solo was...PERFECT. She nailed that high note :TdT: :hearts: and yeah, I know this live may have been touched up with studio magic but STILL I think it was definitely better than After Eden's (which would have been magicked anyway)...maybe even better than Red Moon's, actually… :ayashii:

Kimi ga Hikari:
- Beautiful~ Admittedly, my favourite is still the Seventh Heaven live version but this one is very nice too. Wakana is better than in Type Moon, but I prefer Keiko in Type Moon over this one...

Hikari furu:
- waaayyyy nicer than the nico nico studio live…and I like it around the same as the original studio, but the studio and live versions of the song actually sound quite different to me and evoke slightly different moods, so it's a bit hard for me to say which one is better...
- Wakana's voice was giving off 'pure and innocent' vibes to me at the beginning, a bit different to the usual 'mature womanly' feeling I get from her. She sounds warmer, younger and even a bit vulnerable to me...
Either way, I think she sounded wonderful at the beginning, looked a lot more relaxed and sounded a lot less strained (though I did notice a bit of a wobble on the 'na' of 'yawaraka-na soraaaaa' the transition between voices was awkward but meh :XD: ) I do wish she was louder at the 'Shizukanaaaaa...inori ga' part, though that's like my favourite part of the entire song :ohoho: She was nice and strong on the parts after that, though, which was nice~ :shy: I also LOVED the little Hikaru-esque look of angst she gave right after she finished singing 'watashi ga doko ni mou ii naku naaa demoo…'
- Whoa, Hikaru was chanelling some serious EMOTION on her 'hakanasuuumidEEEHHH' *_____* :TdT:
- Those keyboard glissandos (is that what they're called? Those descending running passages that I thought I heard during the climax...or was I hallucinating? :confu: ) were unexpected and surprised me :ohoho: Not sure if I like them, though...I mean, where did Yuriko's epic background chorus go?? :omg:  I mean, I know people don't usually like it when they have the random backing track there but for this song I personally kind of want them to keep it… :spotlight:

Mirai:
- better than the niconico one, obviously...I actually do kind of like the live version better than the recorded now, because of this version...heheh
- Wakana: looked and sounded so much more relaxed and less strained/stressed. Quite strong and comfortable on her solo parts, those super high notes were handled very nicely :shy: Her falsetto/head voice sounded very nice on the Yuriko-chorus parts :sohappy:
- Keiko: Lovely Kajiurago parts :shy: And her ending note harmonising with Wakana sounds quite high for her but it was done beautifully.
- Hikaru: again, her voice sounded warmer, smoother and more controlled ,less open and 'shouty'. Me likes~ :shy:
- As opposed to HF, I'm glad the girls decided to reduce the use of the backing track and tried to sing as much of it as they could themselves.

Sprinter:
- Wakana: I could hear her on the usual Yuriko-chorus part, but I could barely hear anything when she sang her normal two main lines (badly adjusted mic? Or perhaps she was tired… :ohoho: )
- Hikaru: A good, solid performance. Usually I find she often sounds a bit tired and breathy especially towards the end of this song, probably because it's often used as the ending song of their concerts, but even though this was the case today, I found that Hikaru didn't sound weary at all pretty much. She sounded like she still had a good store of energy left for this song. And of course there's all that extra emotion she injects into it :shy: She really owns this song for me.

- I was actually really glad they decided to sing as many of Yuriko's chorus parts as they could, in moonfesta and Mirai, reducing use of backing track as much as possible...though I'm not sure if I like Yuriko's backing track being omitted in Hikari furu since it sort of changed the feel of the song for me :XD: (not in a bad way, really, just...is strange to get used to :ohoho: )
