Kalafina 5th album "far on the water"

@LacrimosaRaven Beaches can be that white, but there's only a few in the world that white, so its definitely filtered, as with every single other kalafina pv on the planet

I'm kind of disappointed cause I thought the pv would be something like the covers, where they're like, walking in front of sketches or something? It sounded better in my head.
 
so it isn't real beach?
Theme of sea, beach... I wonder how full pv looks?
 
Sorry for double post, but am I the only one who thinks their FotW outfits look almost exactly like these outfits?

That hairstyle was so beautiful on Hikaru! But I also think she looks great with short hair, very stylish and bold.

That beach is following the instagram/tumblr aesthetic of oversaturation, I hope the PV looks good and has some kind of contrast to avoid looking too washed out since the dresses are white too.
 
That beach would be even better if they'd made a nice well done cover with it *still doesn't like the actual covers*
 
@garnetjester ah, thanks. "Oversaturated" was the word I was looking for. Y'know when you take a photo and it's all over-exposed, and a pale grey sky looks white? I figured it was something like that.
 
Well, it's only a tiny bit of the PV. Very very short. heh I don't remember that part in the song, but I have not listened to it in a long time. Maybe there will be some lily pads floating and they reach down to pick them up or touch them? I was right about the beach scene, just not for the covers but for the PV. And yeah, Westkana, they look similar, just with more frill. I really like those outfits though. (It really was weird going back to Hikaru's old hair style in watching Consolation live and Type Moon Live again, I guess since I am so used to her short hair now, though I think it's gotten longer again. Just a little. heh)

Also I found this performance of far on the water from Mezamashi Live: http://www.bilibili.com/video/av2823601/ It's really good. They all sounds good, Hikaru included. (Glad she is sounding better.) I really like the song. Especially with the flute. (I love Rie's playing.) I am looking forward to the album more now.

Thoughts:
Wow, huge apples! Those black dresses are so ridiculous. These postcards are nice, but there's too much going on, and they stole those birdcages straight from the Consolation cover.
 
They look aweful. its like a messy room, like who has 2 leafless trees and a ladder in the middle of the room?! They should have either shot this in a garden, or at a beach to make sense. NOT INSIDE. ANd on top of that they added the usual room decorations: chairs clocks candles and birdcages, and that clock looks like its hanging from the celling because its definetely too far from the wall and there's no way its levitating. Seems like they had 2-3 ideas and because they couldnt choose one they mixed them together :blood:

The clock is a Photoshop PNG. Look at the Taranoana and Tsutaya version compared to the ones with the clock.

I think these photos look good, though I like the ones with the black dresses the most (save for the glare from the window lighting - ISO adjutsments or Photoshop could've fixed that).

I wonder why the girls never smile for their photoshoots. I think they look much better when they do.

Again room-scenery!? It's boring... And this mess. Yes, it should be beach or something like this. :rain: Maybe they thought that it's so in Kalafina-style... The room is ugly and it's too much different things.
I like most gamers postcard.

TORA ✓✓✓ Cause casual again and I like how it feels like a random picture without much posing to the camera (then again I wouldnt be surprised if it took longer to take this picture than all the other ones). And I do like the cluttered room more than the forced edginess of believe and One Light.
