I'm sure someone else can make a better gif, but for now:

There's another gif on my blog...

Omg, that's so cute! Keiko sure is playful girl.

I was expecting it to be at least like Kioku no Mori.... but this is pure FictionJunction-Stuff ...
A huge disappointment.

Well, I will bet on Grunty's word that this album will sell less then Red Moon.

I don't have any comments about Kugatsu yet... it sounds darker, but then again, the formula reminds me of Sapphire - Haru wa Kogane, Kagayaku, Gloria.

Thanks a lot, Elcazador! :sohappy:
I love Here We Stand, so the comments here have intrigued me... Well, upon listening, I like Eden a lot. But if you force me to make comparisons...

Voyagers - YES
Here We Stand in the Morning Dew - NO. Unless we count the overall background rhythm which I suspect to be the main thing that led people to compare it to Here We Stand. :tea:

I've also caught up with Kugatsu, and it actually reminds something I wanted badly last year - an extended Intermezzo. Although I wonder if the ipression derives from the sample's quality unitentionally copying Intermezzo's stylishly half-muted parts. :XD: There's also a Kagayaku flavour to this song, maybe much stronger than the aforementioned Gloria/Haru wa flavours. Maybe the flute+chorus is responsible? :ayashii:

Overall, these tracks live up to my expectations from Kalafina. :dote: Nothing aiming to reshuffle my Kalafina top 5 so far, although Eden may end up close enough.

Dunno about "pure", but not gonna argue since I've just compared it to Voyagers which to a significant degree IS a FictionJunction song. :XD:
Though I, too, expected Eden to be a dark/sad song. Mainly because the album is titled "AFTER Eden", and last time I checked the Bible, leaving Eden and the preceding events were LESS than happy stuff (insert understatement tag here).

It sounds more like Voyagers than Here we stand...

I thought Eden would be grand or "epic", but this is good too. I like it.

i actually like kugatsu better. dunno, this song isn't what i expected... :spotlight: for some reason, when i heard this song..it reminded me of disney :XD:

i think it'll grow on me sooner or later, like i have a dream :ayashii:

:uh..: Eden doesn't sound like Here we Stand or Voyagers to me...

It was just... Eden.

But...

:blood: MAGIA WILL BE THE ONLY UPBEAT SONG IN THIS ALBUM? PLEASE, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :omg: :voodoo: :stupidtable: :stupidbox: :fwa: :rain:

:uh..: I hope so. Red Moon had fantasia, Hikari no Senritsu, progressive, Kyrie, Hoshi no Utai...

We need at LEAST 4 to 5 upbeats! :knife:

I'm torn. On the one hand I don't really like the preview but on the other I applaud Kajiura making "lighter"/"brighter" uptempoish songs. I guess I'll wait for better quality to actually judge though the last part of the kajiurago bridge (2:45+) is definitely very generic Kajiura - actually wasn't it in some other Kalafina song with real lyrics?

I don't have a problem with a lighter/brighter song, but somehow I have the feeling that most of the album will be like this. Which means: flute, generic kajiurago bridge, among other things. I'm also not very fond of upbeats songs like Ongaku/love comes down/Kyrie, so I was hoping for very nice ballads. But I don't like Kugatsu

No, no, no, no...and one more no.

edit:
Forgot to mention about Eden. Of course, I won't have a clear opinion until we get to listen to it with quality, but for now...I don't know what to think of Hikaru's part, but I rather like Wakana's. BUT. I think both parts do not blend nicely.

If the only guitar solo in this album is the one in Magia, my first impulse will be to send the entire thing back. :bloodlust:
