Excuse me for my opinion.

LOL, sounds like a valid diagnosis for us.
That's mainly my reason why I sticked to Yuki. It's not that I don't welcome other artists anymore.Lately, I have been a David Foster fan 9I even thought, wow, he's like a Yuki Kajiura male version). Aside from the emotion and power, being different form the trend, what drawn me into Yuki's music is how I love her arrangements of the music and voices of the vocalists.Classical era was my first impression when I listened to her.I even acknowledge her flaws, which as you said using the same pattern or recipe sometimes. But my standards in music meets with Yuki's music.Of course i couldn't agree more with you.Nick Hunter said:It's also a matter of style here to me. I don't place Yuki to stand on others' failings but on the fact that she does something I believe the whole industry should be doing by now but doesn't seem to bother to - successfully blending pop and classic trends. This IS my IMHO, and that may not be such a merit in Japanese music where we know a good number of artists doing just that, but I, who have grown up on Russian and Western pop music, can't but draw comparisons - and they're hardly in favour of even the UK/US where Japan supposedly drew most modern pop music trends from. That's what makes me insist that Yuki's music is good.
Only a few appreciate those kind of music.I'm one of the rare breeds I guess.I love Classical that's why I love Yuki for making such music similar to it. I have a thought that since Classical music is one of her reference, that's where the so called 'repetitiveness" came. Beethoven's Piano Sonata #14, Pachelbel's Canon in D major, etc.Nick Hunter said:Of course, most of their works may remain known only to music academy graduates, but they are not considered to be strictly for mass appeal anyway. Making their heritage mass-appealing is what pop music is meant to do when it comes close to synthesis of modern and classic. But pop music doesn't have the demands of classical music,

Count me in! XDNinetales said:I'm like Nick Hunter - since I love Kajiura-sensei to pieces
