@aki Unluckily I've never seen that performance :touched: But I can remind that live was pretty terrible.
 
@Kohaku_ what do you mean, it was terrible? I thought the one on the 5th anni CD was lovely. First, it's so much clearer and there's actually live instruments, and the live drums makes it so powerful. The only thing I don't like is how they muted/recorded over Hikaru's voice.
 
@aki I remember listening to a couple of songs from that live (oblivious and mirai if I'm not wrong) and I didn't like them at all. Well, actually I don't consider Mirai that much xD

EDIT: I'm watching the live again. Maybe the first time I've watched it I was drunk. My fault, sorry.

oh, I don't mean the live video; they don't even perform serenato (and I do agree that live isn't the best). I mean the CD: http://canta-per-me.net/discography/kalafina-anniversary-live-album/
 
The 5th Anni version of Serenato is actually what made me realise quite how good that song is. The intro is a little off but that quickly fixes itself and the rest of the song actually sounds even better than the studio version to me.
 
According to this yahoo article, and several other similar ones, Kalafina will be appearing on Utage for two consecutive weeks in December.

Lastly, there is also a listing for Keyboard Magazine. Kajiura Yuki has an interview in that magazine. I checked out the publisher's website and it seems like Kajiura Yuki is one of the artists that they interviewed on a special article called "Survive with MUSIC".

The article is about the art of living as a musician and talks about download sales, new means of selling music and in what kind of consciousness are musicians active in. Hmmmm... I am actually interested in what she has to say but I'm not sure how long her interview is, so I'm not sure if I will pick this up.

^That actually sounds like an really interesting interview. I'd love to hear how Kajiura feels about expanding sales of her music outside of Japan. Aside from a few choice selections, most of her music needs to be imported. It sure seems as though Yuki is getting around quite a bit these days. This year alone she's had the NHK show, the Tsuda College event, and now this.
 
No Kalafina in today's Utage. It's a two part special and Kalafina's part is next week. Nothing but annoyance on twitter, complaining about sitting through this crap of a show and not getting any Kalafina.
