so relisting the musics since I lost alot :XD:

-
1 with I dont know what instrument
-
with mysterious flute during the waver and his servant talk
- with string and percussion -kinda middle east sounding - really nice
- when
Iliya and Kirtsugu play together
- fate/zereo main theme
(or is it Saber's theme? during the talk between Saber and that woman).
or is it a new one ?
- 1 when the
demon-like servent killed the kid ( )
- 1 when the
assassin tried to enter the tohsaka house.

Also: wtf is that supertall muscular giant with the red beard supposed to be Alexander the Great? :XD: He looks more like Hagrid from Happy Potter :ohoho:

I do agree about the vocals, that they shouldn't be overused. They should be saved for epic scenes, like the summoning. I'm hoping for more like that though, and I really liked the first song too. Can't wait for today's episode! :dote:

Rider is epic hohoho
Oh wow, the ED is sure nice (aside from the vocals). They made sure to conceal Berserker's identity hahahah

Re:

Yes, it's better to use vocals for key moments or battles but she usually uses vocals for every kind of moments: the battles (a song of storm, el cazador, salva nos), the sad scenes (Preparation, inca rose, I talk to the rain, Fukan Fukei suicides story) or just character themes (moebius, L.A, Margalet).

Old theme but stripped down?

Impressions~

Somehow, I know that eye :ohoho:

"Rider?" song: Salve, Terrae Magicae! A little bit of .Hack in there too, I think. Pleasant but nothing special.

God, that guy is such a moron :bloodlust:

Now that I think about it, I don't like the guitar in Oath Sign. Too shrieky. But I do like the beginning of the chorus...it'll be interesting if someone with a more pleasant voice does a cover :ayashii:

Why is The Odyssey in French? :confu:

Okay, so he's too busy being a complete idiot to explain to his Viking pal that Macedonia and Persia aren't around anymore. I officially hate this guy. Can characters like this never be avoided? :blood:

I love "wareware" for some reason. It just sounds cool :dote:

Yeah Viking-san! Give it to this idiot! :cheer:

Oh boy. I see problems on the horizon. Big ones, too. :uh..:

"Draw the sword" song: Reminds me of something, but I can't think of what. I like it. What's the solo instrument, I wonder? Oooh, real horns again!

"Snow" song: Hmm. Pandora Hearts-esque, I think. Like Tea Saloon, but with a clarinet? Wonder if the clarinet's real or synth? Nice and relaxing. Sounds like Mino on the piano, not Matsuda...

So you can actually interact with these Servants, huh? Interesting...

"Talking to Saber" song: Oh, beautiful. No need for anything other than the strings :touched:

Oh, this is weird. :uh..:

"Weirdo" song: Well, KnK definitely, given the situation. Does this lead into the percussion track, or is it separate?

"Drag it out more!" song: Well, nice percussion, at least.

Oh, I'm waiting for something to happen here. Waiting...oh yeah, something's gotta happen.

Yup. :desksweat:

Well, I still like the percussion :XD:

"Running through the forest" song: Like it, definitely. Pandora Hearts/KnK-esque, I think.

Oh dear. I suppose that's it for him, ね?

Still like Memoria. At the very least, her voice is more pleasant than LiSA's. The ending is a tad strange, though.

Don't know if I'm going to keep watching, now that Happy Murderer and his Servant have showed up. Characters like that irritate me almost as much as idiots like Waver do :bloodlust:

^I hate Uryuu and Caster as well, but people find them cool. Go figure...
But I wouldn't drop it if I were you, just because of them. If you find more things that do not please you than that would be okay, but those are, I believe, minor details (since they are not main characters, and we can always hope they will get what they deserve).

^ Okay, I'll stick around a bit more. Hopefully just to see them get their just desserts :ohoho:

Dat Children Scene . Dammit Urobuchi. You shocked me again

The music is really wonderful and original.I can't wait to listen to more new songs.

Is There an HD download with subs yet for EP 2? This is like the only anime that i have ever been into.

I am so suprised, usually I hate anime but this one i am so attracted too. The music, the visuals, its just beautiful and the story is quite interesting. :sohappy:

Episode 2 amusingly had more tracks that I liked than the one hour episode 1. I enjoyed the track with the middle-eastern influenced strings during the scene Rider was demonstrating his power. I also liked the track played when Caster was summoned, and the one when Assassin tries to sneak into the Tohsaka house.

I'm sort of wondering how the soundtrack will be released with the hiatus. Hopefully we get some music released in the next three months.

are there any Kajiura soundtracks that are similar to the BGM found in fate/zero. this anime's music is beautiful, if not than any other soundtracks very similar not by kajiura I need something like this in my life.

^ A lot of it reminds me of the Rekishi Hiwa Historia OSTs. They're also very orchestral.

Can't think of anything else, really, because most of her other OSTs are a mix of styles. Plus I haven't heard much and won't be hearing any more until this OST's released, and I can't recommend any other artists :uh..:

I agree with you, acid about there being more in this episode. (Just watched it tonight) I love the song when Rider is talking about conquering and the storm is in the background heh. And the one where the masked guy is moving through the barrier. All of the tracks were nice in my opinion. (I really hope it's released seperate and not with the dvd)

I agree that it does sound similar to Historia, especially the first track in ep 2. A lot reminds me of Garden of Sinners too and some Madoka. :dote:

Maybe Hokuto no Ken?

Eh, I think the soundtrack for "The Mummy"/"... Returns" would be closer than Yami no Uta. :p
