So? I was just commenting that this was closer to the Fate/zero (let's call it) Macedonian music than Yami no Uta. :p

I've finally watched ep 2. :sohappy:
- Iliya is cute :dote:
- I like Rider, if anyone can shape Waver into a real man, that would probably be him. provided our scholar boy will live long enough, that is :white: Their relationship promises to be like that of a veteran and a rookie soldier. :ayashii:
(btw, digging up our "onion to Yuki-related anime conversion" stuff, haven't we had Rider for quite a while? =>> :hero: )
- Personality-wise, I STILL can't quite shake off my weird "Waver = male Sayaka" associations. :desksweat:
- Ryunosuke scene is... "Hello there, Urobuchi-san" Part 2. :white: :omg: Blue Beard with his philosophy looks like THE character able to urobuchify any scene he wanders into. :knife:
- Also, Blue Beard take the cake for the biggest name/design dissonance. I mean, look at his face, the dude could star in Gillette ads :ohoho:
- I'm looking forward to more Saber, she looks like a very appealing character. :ayashii:
- I like the OP footage, but I like the ED slideshow even more.

Speaking of music, my faves were:
- pretty much everything in Rider scenes, but the chariot summoning BGM most of all :sohappy:
- the Irisviel (did I get her name right? :confu: ) and Saber talk BGM. :dote:
- Blue Beard theme for VERY impressive and spine-chilling percussion :ayashii: :ayashii: :ayashii:
- Assasin's mission theme, deliciously Agmen Clientum-like.
And Iliya's theme is not too far behind them. :dote:

TL;DR: a new handful of great tracks and the plot which proves interesting to watch. :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Let's wait for ep 3!

No because they pronounce the first I from Irisviel just as it would be pronounced in English, whereas the I from Iliyasviel isn't pronounced like that.
 
Illyasviel would be = Iriyasufiru while Irisviel = Airisufiru
feel free to make corrections.

Oh, thanks, I've apparently misheard that part.

TBH, I wish the subbers rendered the girl's name as Ilia. "Ilya" is a common romanization of a Russian name, but the problem is... said Russian name is MALE. :desksweat: :XD:
 
Fate/Zero's 3rd episode. There were 3 repeatitions of music and 2 new tracks.

- music for talk between Rider and Waver (rep)
- piano track during saber and irisvein talk (rep)
- rep of the music for the assasin invation to Tohsaka (rep)
- nice piano track during
irisvein's walk at the see.
(new)
- nice battle(?) music starting from when rider is on a bridge. (new)

no vocals again, but I do like the last BGM :dote:

and I still think that things that progressing slowly,
I wonder for what Kiritsugu wants all these weapons.
is it for killing irisveil like he had said in the first episode ? :confu:

and lol Waver is such a crybabe :ohoho:
 
^Of course not. He will be participating in the war, that's why he needs them.

The pace of the episode was really slow, but the novel is the one to blame. Truth be told, F/Z's beginning bored me a bit when I was reading it.
 
Wait, so is this a continuation, or...? :confu: If I remember correctly, there were a few in the "Fate" series, but I'm not sure which to watch first.
 
^ Its an anime with prequel events, that happened before Fate/Stay Night and pretty much explain why the ones in F/S N happened. So if you dont want to get spoileed over Fate Stay Night, watch it first, and then you can watch Fate/Zero to fill the plot holes :)
 
I really enjoyed the song during Rider and Waver's talk in the beginning of ep 3. It reminded me of Salve, terrae magicae from Madoka, which I loved. Also the piano track was pretty, sort of sad as well. Can't wait for more! (The episode was interesting, a little slow as people were saying but it's getting better I think)
