I wish i had a voice that sounds like a man :XD:

THIS. It seems I'm not the only guy who suffers from lack of manly tone/range :rain: I didn't notice so far, but I'm pretty sure there is some notes by Keiko I wouldn't be able to reach (even Ayahi Takagaki reaches deeper than me in Yasashii Uso - that makes me dissappointed :blood: :XD: ). And I do sing Kala/FJ/YK songs, usually in low volume. But sometimes I take a chance at higher volumes just to rediscover that I can't sing at all - I don't have air capacity, range (either high or low), nothing. That's why most of the time, instead of using head/chest/wherever voice, I sing with my brain voice, the one that rings inside my head only, and the only one with which I can sing decently :XD: :desksweat:

I usualy sing what I can of sprinter, salva nos, PH, Toki no Mukou, the world, dream scape, synchroniciy, Magia, Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku...but I wasn't born to sing at all. :XD: Four/five years ago, I used to sing some JAM Project at higher volumes, and I managed things little better...wonder if I'm getting worse over time? :confu: :leaf:

But I still have fun, anyway :sohappy: :XD:

But Ayapii is a classically trained vocalist (who specializes in opera) though. That gives her the edge since she has had formal education and training for it. :ayashii:

Anyway, yeah I do tend to sing Kala/FJ songs to myself...when nobody is around to listen to me since I suck rotten eggs at singing. :ohoho:

Routine is Kaori or Hikaru main numbers since my range is thereabouts. The ranges of folks like Wakana, Keiko and Yuriko are way out of my league. :XD:

I try to sing everything but anything too high or too slow doesn't really work for me. Although I can deal with lower notes better than with higher ones.

I sing along to everything haha I usually do Hikaru, Kaori and Wakana's lines (or Yuriko and Keiko when they are the main vocal)

My favorite songs to sing along to are Synchronicity, Gin no Hashi, Everlasting Song, Storia, Lacrimosa, Serenato, Sprinter, Aria, Salva Nos and pretty much everything Emily Bindiger has ever sung :ohoho:

I think everyone has already heard me because I sing all the time when I'm doing everything. Especially when I'm driving.

Yes, but since she is a soprano, wouldn't her trainning emphasize or the highs - and maybe even make she lose some of the lows? I don't know, I'm just guessing. But she's not the only girl who can beat me in the lows, anyway :blood: /bricked by myself

This topic made me remember this:

After seeing this guy, I confess I wanted to let my voice all out loud, for good or for bad, doesn't matter :XD:

ahahah me too and my mum she knows all Kala and FJ songs , after all the times she heard me singing :XD: :XD:
Typical conversation between me and her :
- mum: Do you sing obvioulsy Kalafina today? Now I know them :XD:
- me: Sure mum! :shy:

ahaha himewakana i hope you can make people around you love kalafina too by hearing you singing it :sohappy:

:shy: It would be perfect *WWW* anyway I almost converted my mum to Yuki-sama's music :XD:

I converted my dad :ohoho: My mom is hopeless because she doesn't like music at all.

I can't convert anyone cuz they have no interest lol even though I often watch my live dvd on TV :XD:

I mostly play their songs from my laptop and computer, and my brother liked some of the songs, but the songs he likes were the songs I hate lol. And my father too, he used Natsu no Ringo as his handphone alarm ringtone...while I myself used FLOW's song as my ringtone hahaha

Haha well, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to vocal training myself but I assume she's also expected to be able to sing at the lower register at times otherwise she would have limited her versatility as a vocalist. I kinda recall somebody said that the lower register is a range you have naturally and you gain the higher register through training? I'm not sure but I don't think training consistently at a higher register would make you lose your lower register? :confu:

Oh, Yuriko is a soprano but she can still sing songs like Omohide Sunset. :ayashii:

I try to sing anything I can - Kala, Yuuka, FJ, See-Saw, and Chiba Saeko. Normally I don't sing Kajiurago, but I try to figure it out when it's included in a song.

The only songs I normally don't sing are Symphonia, TTB and Lacrimosa (Wakana's parts are too high for me and I end up squeaking), Kouya Ruten which gets me really tired for some reason, and Maybe Tomorrow (which drives me crazy because I want to do a cover of it).

My faves are D.U., Neverending, Silly-go-round, Stone Cold, Tasogare no Umi, Emerald Green, Hoshi ga Tokete, and a few others :dote:

^Hm, I guess you're right...lower register wouldn't disappear because of training the highs. Maybe I heard that before somewhere else, dont know. But I think I'm kinda overreacting because I get really mad about my lack of bass - I can't sing some favorites like songs by Make-Up, Gackt, Granrodeo, Whitesnake, not to mention Hiroshi Kitadani's bassy parts in JAM Project. But I have to live with it :uh..:

Well, then cover it and then post it here :knife:

^ But I can't sing the first lines! I can only go down to G, not to E. All I can think of is raising up the key a bit, but then I might not be able to sing the choruses... :uh..:

I only sing the silly-go-round kajiuran/chorus, because for me it's the best part of the song XD

My favorite part to sing now is : lalalala from neverending, Hikaru's part in Kugatsu and sandpiper, Keiko's part in Kugatsu and Sandpiper (don't know why I always come to the harmony notes when it comes to Wakana's part lol)

Usually sings when I'm listening the song, and in the shower. And if someone annoys me so much, I sing the yalahiyalahiyalahiyaiya from Kala's nowhere. It makes that someone get annoyed and I feel some kind of satisfaction of annoying him/her lol
