Complain about all!

^Yikes... hope it's not serious.

Well, yesterday was not fun, today was better since I saw my niece. But I am dreading tomorrow since I am talking to my doctor (well she's a PA) about the meds that I am on for my back. I want to get off of them, and I don't think she knows this, or knows how much pain I am in. I hate taking pills to begin with, but I am also seeing a therapist as well for it, but Fri is the first day in 2 weeks since she's been gone for vacation or conference. Sheesh... plus this meeting is early in the morning, and then I am getting the Botox in the afternoon for my migraines. I am nervous for it, even though I want these headaches to go away. Okay, sorry for ranting about the same thing but yesterday was just bad. I at least had a drink in the end though. heh

OK, regular doctor has asked for an echocardiogram and if that is ok will organise more extensive tests of kidney function.

The worst of it besides the ongoing swollen lower legs is not sleeping properly and hence not thinking clearly, so I'll type something and discover that I've mis-typed a number, repeated a phrase or left out important connecting information, and it leaves me not wanting to drive much and to be more careful crossing roads and the like.

Still intending to be in Japan 18-23 November 2014 and see two concerts and a possible Kalafina mini-live at Kawasaki on 19 November.

Don't know how it has appeared but it hurts.

The doctor's opinion:
He doesn't know. According to him, it's probably a hematoma due to a shock tonight. Given that I only slept 3 hours and that the slightest noise wakes me up, I don't think. In addition, there is a cushion between my head and the only place where I can bump me.
Or, less desirable and less likely, this could be a beginning of zona.

Darn, there's a lot of unfortunate illnesses in this thread atm. :@_@: Get well soon, guys! @Kugayama you've really had a rough time with medical issues lately. I hope you can still make it to those shows next month!

Kuga, Daphne, *hugs* Kuga, I hope you can still go to Japan and Kalafina! Daphne, ouch, maybe you accidently hit your head on the bed post? I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and I hear everything too. I am lucky if I get 7 hours of sleep.

Hence this complaint, have a headache and not feeling too well, well, because I got Botox yesterday. I think the headache is due to that and having a long zombie dream. I hate it when they are long and I don't wake up. So I don't think I actually sleep either. Plus with my back it's hard to get comfy. I need a new mattress I think, but that costs money. Ugh.

Ehh well, mine is trivial compared to everyone else...but well:

Been getting shoulder aches and backaches for the past week. Backache is in the lower part of my body. It is better now, thank goodness. Left shoulder ache is least painful and goes away after a medicinal rub, but the right blade is driving me up the wall. It comes and goes intermittently, and sometimes it punctuates, sometimes the whole pain area extends down to my elbow and my right hand feels weak and stiff as a result. And nah I didn't sleep on it... :confu: Wondering if I pulled a muscle.

^It sounds like it. That happens to me with my back, where I'll get a knot that feels like I pulled something, and I never did anything. But what medicinal rub do you use? It might help me too, if it's not smelly or anything, since I can't handle smells too strong. But yeah, back pain is the worst so I feel you. Mine has been bad, but I think it's because of the Botox as well.

I use this. It's in Singapore though. Dunno abt the USA... :confu: What I believe is that is makes the areas warmer so that the muscles can relax and such. Then the pain goes away.

Trying to get fit for my trip to Japan - after being on my feet for 4 hours yesterday I was fading out.

Today I tried a decent length walk but was getting slower and slower,

A couple of interesting sights along the way:

In the end it took me about 6 hours of walking to cover 25 km, instead of 5 hours like I expected.

The stupid kids are being really loud. Glad I am leaving in awhile, but still. It's super windy out and they're still playing in the street. Ugh. I want to get away from here.

Urgh, just when I thought my family are all doing well, my mum was admitted to hospital. It's nothing serious, but she has to wait until Monday before they do more tests and decide what operation to do. We all visited her today and left some magazines and crossword puzzles because it gets reeeally boring sitting around all day and not being able to eat anything or go outside. Not much anyone can do, apart from stop by to visit each day. At least the hospital is in town, but still.

I guess it means the treatment will be over well in time for Christmas, but it still sucks for her. :uh..:

I hope she gets better too! Hospitals suck.

My arm has been numb for awhile now. I hope it stops before the game. But I have never felt this bad before. I feel like crying, but won't.

Not good if it requires surgery, hope your mum is better before Christmas (and gets Christmas off to fully recover).

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

She's been kept in under observation and they now know what the problem is - it's nothing serious and the operation will be fairly straightforward, but we just have to wait to find out when that will be. The 'nil by mouth' rule has been lifted now though - I've never seen her so happy about the prospect of a bowl of soup! :XD:

^ That's good news!

Somehow I like the thought of Japanese hospital food more than what we get in Australia.

First Japanese hospital food after surgery:
