I'd need some really good weeks of work to afford a second trip to Japan though...

It's difficult to guess the size of Chiaki-san's fan-base apart from twitter followers and sales of albums. I think that the venues might be chosen after gauging the demand for tickets.

Yup. She is going on NicoNico Live (like UStream but Japanese version) where she is a guest for May'n and Takeshi Washizaki (famous radio MC)'s weekly show. I think free user can view it, but it's a hassle because free users often get "kicked out" when traffic is high. Premium users get high quality video and they don't get kicked out, but there's a monthly fee for that.
 
i've yet to listen to her new album :tea:

anyways, after watching the remastered gundam seed, i've been addicted to see-saw songs again ahahaha
and now am wishing for new songs -___-
 
I like the album. :dote: The Gundam 00 and Sengoku Basara singles were filled with pure quality, and while I didn't quite fall in love with Switch ga Haittara, Fukanzen Nenshou is in my Chiaki top 3. :nosebleed: So all these songs make a solid carcass for the album.
Concerning the new tracks, Insomnia is my fave. :dote: I have mixed feelings about Uninstall remix so far, but it sure sounds like a completely different song, and some guitar and vocal parts are full of win. The Giving Tree turned out a bit below my expectations (I expected something close to Fukanzen Nenshou, but it sounds rather like something in the vein of 1/2), but I love the refrain nonetheless. I also like the refrain of Natsu no Niwa a lot (which I have really got down to hearing just now, admittedly :XD: ), it has a very nostalgic and lyrical feel to it. :dote:

I've forwarded details to my travel agent to place a bid for a ticket to Chiaki-san's Tokyo live in July.

I am waiting on a second "first press" copy of Chiaki-san's CD which includes a slip to bid for a ticket to one of the live concerts.

昨夜の東京はぐっと冷え込みました。
連日の温度差、暴風雨、
雹まで降ってくるなんて
地球も少しずつ綻んでいるのかなと
空を恨んでしまうのですが、
先日のスーパームーンは
なんとも鮮やかで静かで

さてアルバムのプロモーションをなんとか終えました。

そしてさっそく風邪をひきました。
虚弱な体質ですので、
まるでの展開に笑ってしまうけれど、


心のどこかで治らなくていいと思っている気がする。
特にナーバスな感情ではないのです。
ゆっくりしたいと、とにかくゆっくりと
風邪という病気の中でグダグダしたいのかも
しれない。そうでもしないと
私はベッドにいることをしない人なんです。

アルバムを出してから、
更に自分の輪郭がはっきりしてきたようです。
はっきりさせるために音楽やってきた訳ですから
当たり前のことなんですけどね。


この業界でイベントなども含め
ある程度のことは経験させて
もらったので、後は自分にしかできない世界を
残りの音楽生活がどれくらいあるか
わかりませんが、
静かに着実にやっていきたいなあと思ってます。
それが世の中に逆走することになっても。
元々そういうヒトですからね。。

Hey Kugayama if you have any question about what it means you can ask me, since I do have a bit of Japanese knowledge..

this particular one means there is a TV program that will broadcast a Chiaki Ishikawa special! But since I can't watch it anyways I don't bother look into it...unfortunately..
 
^ Yes, if MUSIC ON! TV streamed worldwide I think many cpm'ers would be watching it.

Tokyo MX doesn't seem to be on keyhole TV either /-:.

There were some other videos that had the entire song, but unfortunately FlyingDOG found them and blocked them :(

I wonder if Flying Dog has a decent recording of it they might wish to release in future?
