Apparently there will be a new year's day broadcast on the Kids station (9am -10:40am):

The gallery at http://www.kids-station.com/minisite/an ... index.html seems to be flash only, but there are some great high-resolution pictures of Chiaki-san there.

happy new year to all and here's my cover song on "Taga tame ni" Chiaki Ishikawa version - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdU-lFDoMI8
This song is available everywhere.

I've also did a Ruisen cover during the summer but just finally got to upload it. This video is unfortunately blocked in Japan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng0G52Tms9M
Оh! I'm usually don't like covers, but... your voice is somewhat similar in tone with the Chiaki's. Now I understood why Ruisen was blocked. :XD:
Really beautiful and clear voice! :dote: :shy:
happy new year too! :sohappy:

its funny how Chiaki seems to be dancing to the music while all the other people are running like crazy :XD:

(sound: it just has a bit of Chiaki talk at the beginning and then a song with a.guitar with chiaki singing in chorus mode "only school")

OK, just back from seeing Kagerou Pain starring Chiaki Ishikawa.

She was onstage for a good proportion of the 3 hour play, and sang seven different songs of hers (one twice), although one appeared to be new. Other parts of her songs were also used in the play.

Songs she sang were (please help me, I feel I must be the worst fan out):

the slow one with the really jangly guitar introduction (also sang at the end);

TW;

the one with fretless bass and "Watashi" used lots of times;

(new song? with piano, violin and perhaps other strings, includes what sounds like plucked violin or viola);

First Pain;

the one with the very intense wind instrument sound at the start;

the one with chorus lines starting with a word that sounds like "Heaven";

Another song played from recording that will forever be changed in my mind due to what happened in the play at the time was "I love me" from Inner Garden.

I was seated in the fourth row and the theatre next to Ikebukuro station was more than 95 percent full. The audience were really quiet and attentive except for a couple of brief bits of humour in the play when they laughed. Lots of smoke effect, 14 other actors besides Chiaki-san and good use of lighting. Definitely drama, not sure how much was supposed to be in real world versus spirit world.

In the foyer beforehand were about four floral presentations with Chiaki Ishikawa's name on them plus a couple of others. Several fans (even quieter than Japanese Yuki Kajiura fans) queued early for merchandise and I was able to buy a pre-autographed postcard and second book, along with the cat keychain and some writing paper and envelopes.

Very glad I attended, had tears in my eyes for some of Chiaki-san's songs.

Sounds like you had fun :)

With so much quietness in japanese concerts, they would be a good place to study instead of going at libraries :XD:

I'm envy to you :cry: I'm very like Ishikawa-san. :dote:
Kugayama, thanks for your frequent posts in this thread.

Just noticed that Animelyrics.com had "Blast of Wind" - Kaze no Stigma OP performed by Saori Kiuji, but didn't credit Chiaki Ishikawa for the lyrics:

http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/kazeno ... ofwind.htm

Kaze no Stigma
Blast of Wind
Description: Opening Theme 1
Vocal: Saori Kiuji

Blast of wind

Blast of wind

Blast of wind

Weighed down by this single pain,
I took off into the night, as if to run away

The lock fastening my memories has gone.
Blast of wind.
Fate starts flowing like water, alone, just like that.
Consumed by hatred, not knowing what real light is,
Am I really letting my hands do more evil?

Tell me, can I still dream?

That nostalgic voice comes to me through that space in the wind,
From that kind, loving profile.
This immense power stole my heart.
And though I hold my nose high, I'm really shaking somewhere inside.

This sleepless night just won't end.

Blast of wind.
Why am I given such power, when I'm obviously alone?

I have a feeling your promise will last forever.
I'll keep this loneliness that left me with darkness to myself. That's fine, isn't it?

The wind blows past my shoulders.
Once more, I believe I can protect that someone I cherish

Blast of wind. I'll believe that
the emotions that sway me are of the things I have wished for.

My eyes are turning blue.

That would probably be "Mou nani mo kowaku nai, kowaku wa nai"

This I don't really know, maybe it's a new song. She doesn't usually use strings often in her songs, the only ones notable are first pain and the giving tree.

Kugayama said:

This sounds like 1/2 but I'm not sure.

That's Lost Innocent for sure. :) most distinct chorus.

Thanks for your short report, really wished I was able to go, but there will be chances in the future. (oh and please confirm if my guesses were right :) )

Rather, 砂の上のドルフィン / Suna no ue no dorufin / Dolphin on the sand from 誰も教えてくれなかったこと / Dare mo oshiete kurenakatta koto / That you did not tell anyone (2009).

Correct, from 日本語タイトル: この世界を誰にも語らせないように / Kono Sekai wo Darenimo Katarasenai Yoni / Told not to let anyone in this world (2012).

Boku wa Mada Nani mo Shiranai. / I do not know anything yet (2007).

Thanks for your short report, really wished I was able to go, but there will be chances in the future. (oh and please confirm if my guesses were right :) )

Thanks for your help!

Songs that were used in some form (e.g. instrumental excerpts) but not sung live by Chiaki-san included Little Bird, アイルキスユー / I'll kiss you, the piano instrumental introduction to Prototype, I Love Me from Inner Garden, シャーベットスノウ / Sherbet Snow and probably a few others.

A great effort from Chiaki-san to sing live in a play like that.
