Latest work in the series!
"Illusions of the Water Margin (a Chinese story?), The Spinning Hundred-Year Time"
Releasing on February 9, 2012!
Theme song: Ishikawa Chiaki "The Giving Tree (game size)"
It's the third recording of the original drama.

Might've gotten a few parts wrong, especially the last sentence...
The last sentece means:the ost will include three discs and one of them is drama CD.
I think the full version of theme song will be included in Chiaki's new album.

I don't like the new way of Chiaki. She is smashing her discography, but Fukanzen Nensho is the best song of 2011 according to some crazy people.

Fukanzen Nenshou is one of Chiaki's best solo songs in my book, so count me in the crazy bunch, too. :V: :XD:
And I like this song's refrain quite a bit. :dote: Looking forward to the full version.

it's because this http://www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000075375&p=3

fukanzen nenshou was awarded as the 2011 best anime song by iTunes Japan (best song = most downloaded song from the year in anime category).

I agree with George...the song doesn't seem to particularly fit the game, but I like it. The nice Celtic flute is a good point, too. I wish Kajiura-sensei would take a page from Chiaki's arranger and use that Celtic flute now and again...

As for Fukanzen Nenshou, I'm not a big fan of it, just because it's rather...manic and almost nightmarish-sounding to my ears. I prefer the earlier songs like Uninstall or House, or the more folk-sounding ones like Blue Velvet or Cloudy. :V:

Uninstall

Excellent call.〜 Bro.〜

Well, Uninstall may be arguably Chiaki's best song. At least it is for me (followed by Prototype and Fukanzen Nenshou).
As to Fukanzen's sound... tastes sure differ. :XD: To me, it sounded downright fresh and enticing, both Latin American and Japanese, both crazy and thoughtful, both brave and desperate. It feels like a VERY passionate song to me. :dote:

^ Ah, we have very different tastes, I think...I'm not a big fan of Prototype either, so I'd say that House is my favorite, followed by Little Bird and then Uninstall. :plot:

Well, Uninstall may be arguably Chiaki's best song.

I like all of the ones she sung for Bokurano, but I don't think I've heard much else with her.〜

I think 「Little Bird」 would be my favourite, though.

me likes the single title songs...
specially uninstall, prototype, mou nani mo.
well sorry but i don't usually give a chance for the b-sides FOR OTHER <somewhat> ARTISTS.

the only b-side/coupling i like is squall.

the new songs beautiful... me wanna hear moar ishikawago.

^ Speaking of B-sides, I actually prefer TW over Mou Nanimo. I think it's a lot catchier :cheer:

TW (what does the title stand for, anyway?)

I think I read in a blog post of hers one time that it stands for This World.

Re: Re:

I can't say my Chiaki's best song but Uninstall, Prototype or even Gyakko (I listened to it for the first time and I hated it, but now I love it).

That's, thank you, I don't remember where I read it :XD:
