I love FFIV's soundtrack. Along with 9 and 6, I think it's my favorite across all 14 games. 15 could change that though. Shimomura with Kaoru Wada orchestrating has been amazing so far.
 
I simply can't wait for ff15 soundtrack but if it doesn't turn as good as the pieces that came out so far, I'll be furious.
 
I have faith it will be amazing. Much like Yuki, Shimomura's recent soundtracks have been sounding a little too similar for their own good. But FF has a legacy behind it and more importantly a budget. I am sure she will do the series justice. At the very least it will be better than 13's. For me at least.
 
I really need to catch up on FF too, the last one I played was 12 and the music wasn't too memorable for me.
