Mostly "Americans" musicians...
My favs:

  1. Shawn Harris: A musician that has made punk, some ska, etc. Currently, he is doing rock and roll and oldies stuff ... and also, he's slowly getting back to his gold days!. Anyway, I admire him,, like, so much... If someone could ask me who my biggest music inspiration is, I could name him, BUT I got to know Yuki, she "gave me" wonderful and unique stuff, different to the rock thing I was used to; such a dilenma!
  2. Five Iron Frenzy: Christian ska band. I didn't enjoy their recent album... but I really enjoy their other works. They're like, so funny, and catchy to me. Lovely style
  3. ...I... and I also enjoy System of a Down. Don't know (or care) that much to call me a fan, but I do love and praise their sound.

...And so, I need to know Japanese musicians. I consider L'Arc~en~Ciel .
..And does K-ON!'s Houkago Tea Time counts?? I simply loved that thing xD

English music? What's that? :ayashii:

Me being me- I never listen to English music, only Japanese.

- SID: They songs are fun, happy, sad, sexy, dark, with a lot of variety like Kalafina's. Their live performances are always perfect because even in his late thirties the main singer can sing at his best, their performances are always fun to watch :)

- Eir Aoi: I like her music. But not her voice, her songs don't have many variety. Also, the start of 'frozen eyez' is horrible to listen to, like a squealing violin

-ELISA: Love her voice, but most of her songs are boring and/or don't suit her voice. I like 'ai omoete imasuka' and her new single.

^ I've only seen Nana Mizuki out of those 3 (Animelo Summer Live 2011 day 1 secret appearance and day 2, Live Union tour in Akita and Aomori in 2012, Animelo Summer Live 2013).

I could have seen Babymetal if their performance in Paris didn't occur on a school day, as well as Wagakki Band if I came to Japan Expo also on Saturday rather than trying to make an expensive failed cosplay for Sunday :comeback:

to answer the title's question...

The only other singers/songwriters whose music I have heard all of is The Beatles and vocaloid producer Hitoshizuku-P. However, if I'm not listening to Kajiura, I'm usually listening to Sound Horizon, SCANDAL, KOKIA, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Joe Hisaishi. I also like Aerosmith, The Eagles, Enya, Journey, Kaori Hikita, Ai Otsuka, and Queen. Kajiura is the only one who I religiously actively follow, though.

@earmuffler wow, that is a great list indeed. I can see a few of my faves on there too. Since I'm feeling lazy because it's late at night here, I'll just give you a :goodjob: of approval, point out that my last FM profile link is in my sig and leave it at that for now!
